Just a suggestion, since I have had my embroidery machine for a couple of months, but do you use the thread that is specifically for the bobbin?? It comes in white and black, and it is right near the embroidery thread in all of the stores I have seen it in....

I made a birthday cake for my hubby last year. It came out flat and rather chewy. He ate it anyway, blaming everything from a bad mix to a faulty oven. A couple of days later I found out the real problem when I was cleaning the counter and found the three eggs I was supposed to use in the cake were still in a bowl on my counter. I had apparently tossed my hand towel over the bowl and, out of sight out of mind.

Fabric crayons are really easy and nonstressful to use. You just have to set the color with an iron once the picture is finished.

You could look up area stores or resturants that deliver and send her gift cards or prepay for her to order herself.

you can melt them safely in a double boiler set up, get a pan of water boiling, set a disposible tin in it with the crayons in it. Make sure you either shave them or cut the small so they melt faster. You can either use them for candle coloring or mold them into "new" crayons.

Another reason for a waterproof side to the bag is that a lot of doctors offices do not let you throw away your diapers. You can put the "used" diaper in a plastic bag, but it helps to be able to wash the inside to get rid of any reside smell! I have had 6 kids, my youngest is 8, so I am somewhat of an expert on SMELLS!

My kids favorite was always graveyard cake. Make a 13x9 cake, frost it with chocolate frosting, making "mounds" for graves. Take gravestone shaped cookies (el fudge, vienna fingers..) and pipe on "RIP" sayings. Another favorite is  a 13x9 pan filled with chocolate pudding, have gummy worms in and out of the pudding and sprinkle oreo "dirt" on top. Ice cubes filled with "blood" (cranberry juse) with plastic flies frozen in them are fun in punch, just be carefull of little ones if the flies defrost! Frozen peeled grapes were great eyeballs, and cold spaghetti in a skull were good for "brains". Have fun Roll Eyes
