12  new things for HP & HBP - HANDSY DONT YOU DARE LOOK!!! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by KidWithKemikals on: June 25, 2009 07:12:21 AM
Im serious Handsy dont you peek!!!!!

I originally intended to do this for a swap but since I like the phrase so much I did one for myself as well!

In honour of seekers everywhere

"Seekers do it on a broom!"

meh of course I had to mess up something!
but Im hoping its hardly noticeable -this one is mine

Her's says the same thing on the front but it has yellow/ gold stripes on the sleeves
and I like her snitch MUCH better since I forgot to put the white bits into mine and ended up painting them golden too  Undecided
but oh well, I added some white on top it looks decent

what say you?!  Cheesy

13  Re: Disposable Camera swap! in The Swap Gallery by KidWithKemikals on: June 17, 2009 09:47:13 AM
I received from MsJamieLeigh this morning

She sent me a cute frame that looks kind of like an easel and she etched the glass. It's her own design and her first time etching. I took out the matting so you could get a better look at the design which is absolutely adorable. It was worth the effort to cut out the stencil. I love it! The photo of the lights is one of hers too. I thought it was just one of those photos they just insert into the frame but nope! It looks too perfect with the frame!

Here are a few photos she sent me.

14  Re: I <3 Coffee/Tea Round 6 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by KidWithKemikals on: June 01, 2009 06:29:28 PM
Alright well since my camera decided to die after taking ALL but ONE picture I was able to upload this from my mobile which is kind of silly since it's a coaster haha

but a lovely coaster at that it looks like its repurposed from a tile[?] with really pretty tones of green

to be continued...

All the goods together

which includes teas of:
and Canadian icewine [en Francais!]

and the extras she threw in- a tea ball, some cloth tea sachets, a tea squeezer, and

some loose tea with apples?

A little jar of coffee scrub which smells AMAZINGGGG

And finally a LARGE tea towel with a tea kettle embroidered on it

Edward the lion key chain with some crystals

my favorite Cullen crest locket! squeeee Ive been so excited for this for weeks!

I was going to make the locket nice and domed you know like it has a cab on it or whatever and use some resin but as I got into my basement to get my resin I find its hardended in its container.. lovely, eh? I was thinking about using diamond glaze but no one sells it around here. Seriously the sales associate at Michales was all "Whats it for?"
Anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this?

I got my package from Kaishabackwards today and I am so excited!!
I came back after a day of school to a lovely little box waiting in my mail bin..
It had a strange fruity smell wafting from it and I was more enticed than afraid  Grin

Caution - Bad words ahead...  Shocked

Ive been wearing the tshirt around the house and no ones seemed to say anything.. I bet my mum will notice when she comes home from work ...

shame on the postman for leaving my gummy bears and worms melting in his truck all day long!
