1  Re: Fall/Character Ninni Swap Gallery - Send out 10/23/14 in The Swap Gallery by maraschino on: November 05, 2014 07:24:02 PM
My ninni came, and what an adorable ninni it is!!

What a fabulous sweater, and those eyes! I cannot get over how lovely they are. It is super soft and cuddly as well, which I think is a must. In the next picture is a fox mask that its supposed to wear, but I think Ill keep it for myself instead (sorry lil' nin!)

Irid3sc3nt also sent along a lot of extras, thank you for being my partner, this was a fun swap. Id love to do another ninni swap some time after the holidays!

I am putting up three cup cozies, in small, medium, and large sizes, to accommodate you on all your various cup sized adventures. Grin

One of the cup cozies; crocheted with wool. I have seen these cute guys everywhere and was very happy to have finally made one!

Second cozy, crocheted with wool as well. It's leaves along a vine.

Third cozy, crocheted with wool. Yellow heart applique amongst purple Smiley

All three.

Hope whoever wins them enjoys them.  It was a fun project, and now I have to go and make a bunch more for xmas gifts Smiley

Oh, and there may be a few little extras for whoever wins Wink

7  Re: Hippy Swp Round 9 - gallery of gorgeousness! in The Swap Gallery by maraschino on: August 03, 2014 07:06:06 AM
Well, I have had an amazing first swap, I can only hope my future ones will be as great. You've set up some high standards, Samsara! Tee hee.

Here's my wonderful loot from here, starting with a beautiful flower pin and bindi.

A slouchy toque that I cant wait to wear when it cools (we're currently having disgustingly hot weather, ugh)

A necklace with a handmade bead and tassel goodness.

Two prayer flags to put towards my hippie prayer flag set. I can't believe they're hand painted!

And lastly, a tag blankie for my son! Gorgeous!! He's chewing it as we speak, hehee.

8  Nature Inspired Mobile in Felting: Completed Projects by maraschino on: May 13, 2014 10:39:23 AM
My first needlefelting project! I have to say, I am so proud of it<3 This is a mobile for my baby boy.

There are three mushrooms, a tree, a flower, bird, owl, inchworm, and bunny (my least favorite, I dont even think it looks like a bunny, but it seems to be everyone's favorite part :/ ) The wreath is woven young willow branches. I woved them, then tied them super tight with string so they wouldnt unravel or loosen (adjusting it as it starts to dry is important so you can make it tighter.)

Here's some detailed shots:
