1  Re: My own ART converse :) in Shoes: Completed Projects by nickerly_kitten on: January 16, 2006 02:42:06 AM
they're not finished yet, but I've been working on them a bit more lately...on the insides (where the converse logo is) and on the toes, I put 4 different quotes that I liked, and colored around them with yellow and blue.....I'm going to put "starry night over the rhone" on the outside of the other shoe, and I'm not sure what I'm putting on the tongue......soooo my shoes are still a work-in-progress. haha

Sounds cool, you should definitely make some photos!! Cheesy

Yeah Lichtenstein is great!

ttlyeightgirl, I also thought that I couldn't do it but it wasn't that hard. Maybe you could try it on an old t-shirt (I did that! Cheesy)

Yesterday I did this:

Here's the original picture: http://www.globalgallery.com/images/clu-50279.jpg

I don't really have any ideas for the other tongue...maybe I`ll do sth by picasso but not sure yet Smiley

I love that pic! It looks  like my own cats. Too cute.

3  stop cat litter spillage in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by nickerly_kitten on: July 11, 2005 08:42:53 AM
this is a really simple yet effective idea:

I had a real problem with my cat kicking litter all over my floor so my bf made me this:

its a kitty toilet/wardrobe holder.

the box gives them pleanty of room to dig, they get their privacy and theres no mess or litter trailed across the floor.

I'm planning to decorate the wooden ikea chest with cat pictures as it holds all my kitty toys.
