1  JON SNOW Game of Thrones needle felted in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Alittlemusthave on: July 02, 2015 03:43:00 PM
My family loves game of thrones and our favorite character is Jon Snow. The last episode to date prompted me to make this doll.
He is 100% wool needlefelted with wire armature so he is completely poseable. His head moves, legs bend, move, arms bend etc.
He was so much fun to make and he has now got his prime position near our TV set.

3  Pony #2 in Felting: Completed Projects by Alittlemusthave on: June 18, 2015 07:55:33 PM
Finished my other pony. She's slightly smaller than the first and my daughters have named her ' Beyonc ' as she has a nice bootie!  Grin she seems a little mad though this pony.

4  My fat pony in Felting: Completed Projects by Alittlemusthave on: June 14, 2015 04:45:08 PM

Hi all
Well it's been a few months since I've been here on craftster as well as crafting at all. After a sudden death of a child friend it hit our family pretty hard, with me in particular. Being a mother myself, It affected me deeply and I lost all interest in most things as well as crafting.

However, time has helped heal and I found myself looking for a project to get back into my crafting life, which I find calming and soothing and gives me great joy.
I found a wonderful tutorial on needle felting and managed to make myself this lovely fat pony. I had a lot of fun making her and have found a new love for needle felting.
My second pony is well under way and I will share her soon.
I decided to name this pony 'Chikita' as she is similar to a miniature horse I used to own a few years ago and she was lovely and chubby as well.

8  Modern macrame in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Alittlemusthave on: February 23, 2015 02:35:34 PM
I've been dabbling with macrame lately and am looking for ways to make it look more Now.
I just finished this piece that I hung on a thick branch, which I painted the ends in a bronze paint. I really like how it all turned out.

9  macrame is back! in Crochet: Completed Projects by Alittlemusthave on: February 19, 2015 02:05:17 PM
Hi all,
As there isn't a forum for macrame I thought I would post it here, as it might be most appreciated.
I am about 2 years behind the ball since macrame has come back in fashion.
Just search Pinterest and etsy and you will be inundated  with new modern macrame!
I decided to give it a go and just used some doubled up yarn I had at home as I didn't want to spend any money on this project, because I didn't know if I could learn the knots.
But, with the help of youtube and an old book I had, away I went.
I never realised I loved tying pretty knots before and 2 days later I had this lovely wall hanging. Even my very modern teen, gave it the thumbs up Grin
Well, now I am more confident I have ordered some cotton rope and plan to make a very big piece for behind my bed head or my lounge. I might even try some dip dying...
