1  Octopi Love in CHALLENGE 99 ENTRIES by 3200Runner on: June 09, 2014 09:21:11 PM
I've had this idea swirling in my head for a while now, so it was great to have a reason to craft it! It's simply two octopi [made from translucent polymer clay and dusted with chalk pastels] wrapped around a jar. The inside is filled with blue colored water gel:3 It's approximately 2.75 in. X 3.75 in. While it's bigger than I was hoping for, if I went with a smaller bottle I'd have to leave out an octopus!:[ I also covered the lid with polymer clay and did a simple design to hide the original label Wink All in all I'm pretty happy with it:D

2  Re: Harry Potter Box Swap - Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by 3200Runner on: May 06, 2014 08:45:25 PM
Warning: Rather pic-heavy. It's riddikulus! Wink
I've gotten my package from rockingbearranch and it is pure awesomeness! Thank you so much! She included everything I really love about Harry Potter!^.^

The first thing I pulled out of the box was this bag :

It's inspired by Lily, my absolute favorite character from the HP! And she even embroidered Lily's patronus on the bottom of the bag! How lucky am I? Cheesy

Placed inside the bag were these items (well not the sharpie, I just wanted something to compare the size to):

It includes a "buff" Snitch (that can be used as a dryer ball, but I don't think I could bring myself to ruin it), a Lightning Quill, two Pygmypuffs, and a Gryffindor wand with my initials. The bright pink Pygmypuff is named Pinkie and the lighter one is called Cuddles! Their so cute!:3

For the wand, even though my house isn't Gryffindor, since it's inspired by Lily I'll let it slide;) No but really it is so cool actually a little too cool. My brothers have already taken it from me twice! On a note that's shown a little later rockingbearranch wrote, "The magic power of the wand is 'Stuffamora'. Useful for stuffing pillows and such." I thought that was a creative little note^.^

The other thing I pulled out of the package was this box and it is now my favorite HP item that I own. I'm ashamed to admit I squealed when I pulled this out... Grin

It's a stationary box with the words "Mischief managed" written on it. I love everything about this!!! Here's a close up because I couldn't stop looking at it!

Inside the box was a note listing everything included, an extra feather for the quill and a kitchen towel:

Lastly, the kitchen towel has "Scourify" embroidered onto it with a subtle Hufflepuff colored ribbon sewn at the bottom. Sadly the color didn't show up to well with my camera...:/ But it looks great in person!:D

So this was the wonderful package I got from rockingbearranch today! I took so many pictures but I couldn't help it! Everything is so perfect! Thank you, thank you, a million times THANK YOU!

I received my package a while ago from the ever talented Laurel (rscowtown)Smiley but I just forgot to upload it!  She sent me boxes made from gorgeous spring themed fabric. They now reside on my shelf filled to the brim with craft goodies:3

Thank you for the wonderful package, Laurel!:D
