Very nice recon.  I love buttons, too.  Those are cute.
372  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Embroidered photo, in progress! on: August 07, 2008 08:02:41 AM
Very cute!.  I would frame them so you don't run the risk of them getting dirty like you would a pillow.  I know as a parent I would love getting one of my kids as a present.

Very Cute!  I'm not a big fan of orange, but it certainly works well for this outfit.  It looks very sunshiny and happy on your daughter.  I especially like the 2 different ruffles on the hen of the pants and the appliqued chick.

Very nice! I've been thinking about decoupage for awhile and trying to decide if I should add it to my long list of crafts I want to make.  I hadn't thought of using canvas.  I really like that you kept it simple.  Decoupage can be so cluttery.

I love love love the Life, the Universe, and Everything project.  I actually like the newspaper background(though I can see how a teacher might find it confusing-especially since the text is upside-down).  I am a big fan of the Hitchhiker series and I think you did an excellent job. My teachers never assigned cool projects--or let us read cool books.

Hello!  I found this link -- http://msucares.com/pubs/publications/p1399.htm --for standard measurements and sizing for infants and children(it's towards the bottom of the page).  I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but it gives a good general idea.  I'm new, too and trying to figure out which project I should put up first.  Congratulations on your baby!

Very fun!.  I hate the boy departments, too and I have 3 boys.  This is a great idea for giving them something unique.

Very cute!  Your daughter looks beautiful in it.  I really liked the pockets on the front and the tied straps.  THey remind me of clothes I wore when I was little.

Lovely! I love the sheet you used--I have a thing for birds in trees. The back is especially beautiful and the addition of the red belt is stunning.
