1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Under, on or over the 'bump'? on: May 29, 2006 11:02:35 PM
Hi guys, I have a question for you. I'm making some elastic waisted a-line skirts for summer & was wondering where I should make the waist sit. When you are pregnant do you wear your skirts under, on or over your 'bump'. I didn't really wear skirts last time so what do you recommend?

Thanks in advance, poppysmum. XX
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Dada's Birfday on: November 12, 2005 06:06:02 AM
Poppy & I stencilled this shirt for her Dada for his birthday this year. He is soooo hard to buy for so usually he chooses something he wants & then we craft up a little surprise...

He really liked it although he has such a love affair with coffee that we couldn't go wrong really.

We used a piece of card & cut out the stencil, then we used acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium. It bled a little but it's still good enough to wear. Grin
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Holding Hands-I fixed the pic! on: November 11, 2005 02:02:36 AM
I embroidered these pillow cases for friends who were getting married. It was an easy project that I'm surprised to say was really, really appreciated by the couple. See how when you put the pillows side by side they look like they are holding hands? I even guessed their sides of the bed correctly!

This is my first 'show off' post so let me know what you think... Thanks! Grin

Damn it! I DID conquer this! Grin
