1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Two charms of same size side-by-side on a necklace? on: November 05, 2013 07:37:13 AM
Hello! I just joined this community to ask my question.
I've got some ideas for DIY Christmas gifts this year, a novelty for me since all my other siblings are craft wizards and I've never found my niche. Well, find it I just may have!

One of my ideas is homemade necklaces, and one specifically includes a coin and a scrabble tile, with a hole drilled through each and jump rings attached before being looped onto a chain of some sort (ring chain? leather cord?). My question is, how can I rig this necklace to make it look not-dumb (lol)? I'm thinking that two charms of almost the same exact size would look very silly and not lay properly if they're side-by-side. Please correct me if I'm mistaken, I've never done this before so I really don't know!

This particular necklace is for a man, so if anyone has any suggestions to improve on it as well, let me know! Thanks Smiley
