1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Mason Jar tea towel on: November 30, 2013 03:45:47 PM
yep stillatthetop, thats what I meant...edited to correct. Not sure where my brain was when I was typing that Smiley

And of course I don't mind you borrowing the idea, I think I got it off a ecard or something like that. Smiley My friend is very much into canning and mason jars in general, so it is right up her alley.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Pinup towel on: November 29, 2013 06:18:13 PM
Here is the other half of the xmas present I made for my best friend. Not sure what the rules surrounding curse words are, but I will go ahead and mark this mature. The quote came from my best friend as she was trying to argue her point about hating cake. I was really happy with how it turned out except for the weird drooping thing the cake did on the lower right side...not sure if its going to bug me enough to redo it, or if I can breath out and let it go Smiley

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do you organize your floss? on: November 29, 2013 05:46:13 PM
ha! As I was going through my stitching stuff and trying to organize, I thought, hey, I wonder how everyone else does this??

I have probably about 10 or so on those plastic bobbins and then on a metal ring. However, I stopped putting them on those plastic things because whenever I would try and unravel the skeins I would end up with the biggest knots. Knot worth it  Wink

Now I just have them in a plastic bag in their skeins....hoping someone has a super awesome solution!

Hi all!

I've been lurking around for awhile now and figured I would dive right in. I am a habitual crafter trier. I've tried nearly every type of fabric craft there is. This year I decided to give embroidery another try and make some xmas presents. The first thing I ended up making was for my parents. They love zombies...so I decided to take some pictures of them from their younger years and zombie-fy them. Here is the result. I am pretty happy with it and am giving it to them this weekend.
