This is absolutely beautiful.  So intricate and with such attention to detail.  I keep imagining the matchsticks lit now.  I wonder if you could do something similar and use small candles instead (like birthday candles?) and then it could be lit without being destroyed?  Oh, the possibilities!!

And I'm with always... if you set one of your creations on fire and film it, you will have my undying respect and admiration.  (sadly, I think I must have a little pyro in me as well! Cheesy)

I'm so glad Rumina has made it to her new home!! (Rumina is the Roman goddess of breastfeeding. So a perfect name for the lactation intention!)

wendiek-- Her face is made out of fimo clay and I put a hole above her forehead.  I threaded in the yarn I used for her hair through the hole and then tied more yarn to those pieces to fill out her head of hair.  You should be so proud of this swap!!!  It has turned out amazing.  I can't wait to see more Smiley

I agree with whomever said the dolls almost dress themselves.  I would add they almost come alive right before you and show what they need or want!  I have never sculpted anything out of fimo clay, but my doll's face just seemed to appear!  And at every turn I was able to find exactly what I needed for her.  I've never made anything like this before, so I was really happy with how she turned out, but I feel like I was almost guided instead of doing the guiding.   Wink

wendiek- I adore the doll you made for P_E_S_T!  The fiery colors are such a great choice and not one, but two amazing faces!!!!

and P_E_S_T... WOW!  Such a great, creative idea to do two dolls with such opposite yet connected intentions.  Even the "death" doll is beautiful.  I will never quite look at a dandelion in the same way.  Such a powerful symbol for death and letting go.

Thank you for that, madcrafter.  I have never made a doll before and that makes a lot of sense.
