I made my bf a Boba Fett last year for Xmas and while I was redoing the pattern for it this year, I decided to make it a companion. Here's C-3PO. He's about 14" tall with movable arm/elbow joints.

I mostly read that you block after you finish your piece. And for acrylic it's like you spray it with warm water then block.
