I gave it to her without the scarf belt, I just wanted to see what it looked like. I was trying to sew a vinyl trim on the denim handles but couldnt. Vinyl is not easy to sew through Sad unless material is ontop or your sewing on the wrong side. Has anyone had problems with vinyl, how do you sew through it.

Anyhoo, she loved it and Im happy Smiley. I welcome ally comments.

Hey!  Our daughter's look and sound like they would be best friends!! LOL
She just started at a charter school that combines the arts within the regular curriculum, and so far, she seems happier than I've seen her in a long while.  Thumbs up to all the mommy's out there who are giving that positive vibe to their kids!!

If Im not for her who will be..............................I APPLAUD ALL MOMS/DADS THE SAME

When we missed the window for the application period at the School of Performing Arts in New York I knew I had to think fast. I wanted her to attend a high school where she would be able to expand her skill set. I sent her to Ga, looking for a better learning environment, to her father (ex husband) who lived on Ft. Gordon Army Base but unfortunately she returned after completed the 9th grade because he came down on orders to travel over seas. We both are now happier than ever because I was able to get her into a revamped high school in my city that has a AWESOME curriculum-and yes she was able to get ANIMATION which she cried for and back into ROTC.

i can't believe how incredibly sweet that was of you-posting her stuff just out of love and pride. you are both awesome!! i agree that she is very talented also!

thank you everyone. She is my gifted one and even though I love all three just the same-she is the most driven. There were times this past summer break where I had to make her go to bed at 2-3am in the morning. She is drawing or sketching, writing etc. She is very eclectic and I admire her for her individuality, Something I couldnt understand in the begining.
18  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help! Can I add a drawstring to pants?? on: September 13, 2005 12:45:20 PM
I would use a seam ripper and remove the stiches in the area of the leg seam allowances-draw your string through and stiche those areas back.

Im very proud of my daughter. She is 15, and a sophmore this year. Nicole has been creative/crafty since the begining of her time. I am proud to say that she is truly gifted and I pray that she continues on. Art/jewlery making/sketching/reconstructing clothes etc. She reminds me of me when I was her age. she doesnt know I pulled her clothes out this morning and took shots-just showing off my baby.
