1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Flower Pot Made From Pressed Aquarium Gravel on: September 16, 2013 03:15:20 PM
I'm new to Craftster, and I hope that I have selected an appropriate forum for posting my question.
I was in a shop in a small town in Texas recently, and I saw a really interesting flower pot that appeared to be made of pressed gravel--similar to aquarium gravel.  It was shaped like a clay flower pot, but the entire pot consisted of what appeared to be aquarium gravel.  It appeared to be pressed together, as it had a rim on it, just like a rim on a clay pot.  I wonder if perhaps the gravel was molded with the use of some sort of acrylic.  Any suggestions would be most welcome, as I would like to try to make a few of these for my patio.
Thanks:)
