1  Happy shirts in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by JudyDB on: September 14, 2013 12:23:24 PM
I stepped out of the hospital from being a surgical tech, to become one of two full-time caregivers for Gran. She is my grandmother's baby sister and the last of the original 4. Gran will be 99 next week! She is sharp as a tack, but has colon cancer and in DEC. 2012 fell and broke her femur above her knee and in June, she decided to scoot off the foot of her bed (rails up) and fell and broke her hip. She is back walking with her walker assisted by us.

I made these Ts for my co-worker and myself so show Gran how much we love her and to bring smiles to everyone's faces. I am Gran's EReader and Monda is her woobie. I made her a T that says "Gran's Woobie" and it has a teddy on it.

2  Re: Post your CRAFTY Tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by JudyDB on: September 14, 2013 11:40:23 AM
This tattoo is still in the making.
The first was the hand crank sewing machine. Shortly after I got that tat, my cousin gave me his Grandmother's hand crank machine that they brought over here from Bristol, England! It's a Frister and Rossmann pre WWI.

The second stage idea (bluebird) came from an Urban Threads design. The final stage will be adding notions to my arm.

3  Don't Blink T in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by JudyDB on: September 14, 2013 01:25:50 AM
I made this for my 9 year old granddaughter. The 'Tardis' / police box and angels are from Urban Threads.

I have fleece ready to go so I can make snugly sacks to send to:
http://www.themiafoundation.com/ They take in pups with congenital birth defects and give them a chance for a happy life.
My idea comes from a friend who makes cozy sacks for guinea pigs. I contacted her with a few questions because that size will be perfect for newborns.

Here is my first sack:
