1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Ziggs, the Hexplosives Expert on: June 20, 2014 07:53:37 AM
My husband is a big League of Legends fan and his favourite champion is Ziggs. It's only natural that he'd ask me to make a crochet version of Ziggs. What do you think? Are there any LOL fans out there? Pattern available.

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Death Star Cushion/Pillow on: May 06, 2014 08:41:05 AM
For Star Wars (at the request of my husband) I made this Death Star sofa pillow:

I used a crochet sphere calculator to get the ideal sphere pattern and then added some surface stitches for details.

Free pattern on my blog: http://www.popsdemilk.com/thats-no-moon/
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Mini No-Face on: May 01, 2014 07:39:37 AM
This little No-Face came about because I couldn't seem to get Spirited Away out of my head. I love that movie and all the characters in it. This little amigurumi was super easy to make as it's just a small pill shape - start with 6sc in ring and inc to 12 sts, then work even for a couple of rows before dec and it's done!

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Secret Turtle Box on: May 01, 2014 07:36:56 AM
I have a thing for turtles (I even have a small tattoo on my back) and I wonder now why it took me this long to crochet a turtle. Initially I wanted to make a stuffed turtle amigurumi but in the end I made a small "box" where I can hide small things like jewellery  Cheesy

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Zombie Amigurumi Pattern Link on: April 21, 2014 02:20:13 PM
The other day I had a dream about zombies. I wasn't actually scared, I think it was more of a strange fascination, like I knew I could out run them and survive. I'm not sure why it took me this long to crochet a zombie but I'm glad I finally did. Pattern is available on my blog: http://www.popsdemilk.com/zombie-pattern/

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Crochet Easter Eggs on: April 08, 2014 07:13:56 AM
Just in time for Easter I've made a few crochet eggs to decorate my apt. I'll probably be making more with different designs.

7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Jareth the Goblin King on: March 24, 2014 07:06:29 AM
I finally did it. After years of wanting to crochet a Jareth amigurumi I've finally gone and done it.

When I first got interested in amigurumi, Jareth was one character I really wanted to make but I didn't feel confident enough coming up with a design or pattern. But ever since I took the plunge and started creating patterns I decided it was time to put my skills to use. The wait was worth it.

8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dave the Minion and Cupcake on: March 12, 2014 08:09:01 AM
I'm so excited to share my most recent finished project: Dave the Minion and his cupcake! I'd been wanting to crochet a minion for some time and I chose to make Dave because he bakes (I found a pic of him holding a cupcake, which is what I used to design the cupcake pattern). His body was easy to figure out because it's a pill shape so you crochet until you have the desired number of stitches and then you work even until it's the right length before you decrease to close. It was really fun to make, except for the fingers...I don't know if I'll ever "enjoy" making amigurumi hands/fingers. I absolutely love the way he turned out and I think he's now my favourite creation Cheesy

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pixel Mario Blanket on: February 27, 2014 06:27:23 AM
Hello! I thought I'd share this blanket I made a while back. It took me several months of crocheting squares using only single crochet stitches and later sewing the squares together. Many people have suggested I sell it (and they usually name a price that is way below what it's worth) but after the amount of work I put into it I'm not willing to part with it. Besides, it keeps me ever so warm in winter Smiley

10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Little Aliens on: February 24, 2014 06:30:55 AM
This pattern is from over a year ago and is my first documented pattern! I was so proud Smiley
At this point of my crocheting experience all I could do was make spheres so I played around with increases and decreases until I had a sort of peanut shape. I stitched on some buttons (this was before I was introduced to safety eyes) and voila! I had a funky looking alien creature.
