The "Record Breaking Votive Holders" idea sounds very interesting.  Do you have a picture of the finished product?

So if you didn't paint the records, how are they all pink?  I really like the idea of the bright colors, but I was also confused about the painting thing.

Are these bowls dishwasher safe?  What I was really wondering about was whether the images you glued/modgepodged on would come off.

And of course, if you wanted to put food in the bowls, would the paint or the glued on images be harmful?

I'd love to see a tutorial!

Before I added those red straps, there were straps made out of fabric, and i wanted to embroider "oh my starry eyed surprise" on them. Thats the song they roller skate to in the diet coke commercial but I didnt think anyone would catch it.

That bag is great.  I honestly wouldn't have caught the quote, even though I've seen the commercial before. What type of fabric did you make the straps out of?

Is that a Death Eater tatoo I see on your arm?

I really, really hate it when people pronounce "crayons" as "crowns".  It's "cray-on".  Anyway...

That's so unique it's awesome.  I love it.

Slightly-creepy-but-still-insanely-unique-and-creative things are great.  Way cool.

I'd thought previously about stacking them and filling it with wax to make a candle or something or yeah, a pencil cup.  But I thought that probably something more interesting could be done.  Still, either of those is at least something.

I have a bunch of navy blue shower curtain rings and I can't figure out what to do with them, but I thought some more creative people could come up with some good ideas/crafts.  Anyone?
250  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! on: June 11, 2005 04:41:29 PM
I am dying my hair, and I was wondering how much bleaching it first would fry it.  I've got dark hair so I know I've got to bleach it first, but I've heard people say that their hair dried out so much that they had to cut it, et cetera.  Is there a special sort of bleach that's more gentle, or how could I prevent that from happening?
