1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Keychain Crochet hook - a tutorial on: January 30, 2015 11:42:24 AM
Cheesy Great idea !! To those who might not have the strength to bend an actual crochet hook. It can probably be made using craft wire of a heavy guage. I've made knitting needles from craft wire before. Just pinch the tip then sand smooth.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knifty Knitters! on: November 17, 2013 01:21:08 AM
Wink I have both round and rectangle knifty knitter looms. I mainly use the round looms but I love it !! It's a quick way to whip up a special gift for someone.

Undecided Since we're on the topic of the Knifty Knitter looms anyone know if it's possible to double brim a tube knitted on a loom ? When I saw double brim I mean to knit a brim on the top and bottom part. I want to make myself Leg warmers but I want to have a brim on both the top and bottom part but it seems that's not possible. Anyone wanna take up the challenge of trying to figure out how to brim the top and bottoms of a loom knit leg warmer ??
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Cutting a soda can lengthwise ? on: November 13, 2013 01:30:26 PM

Hello, I have been search all over the internet on guides or tutorial on cutting an aluminum soda can in half lengthwise *Click link for example pic* I have found plenty of how-tos on cutting horizontally and some lengthwise but cutting the top and bottom off. I wanna cut straight down the middle with top and bottom intact. I have a craft project I wanna work on that would use a soda can half. Anyone have suggestions or how-to on getting it cut like this ??
