1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Finally found the Introductory thread! Hi everyone! :P on: July 31, 2013 12:41:38 AM
I feel like a dope for not being able to find the Introductory for days. I guess it's been a real while since I last joined a forum, lest a community of artsy people... But anyway!

Hi everyone! I'm Tomato Yarn and I'm an artsy fartsy who has reconciled with a old flame named "crochet" a few years ago and am now in a relationship with yarn again. Yay~

During that course, I've been learning various stitches and shapes and have developed a penchant for stuffed dolls or amigurumi (あみぐるみ). But it was a typically lonely journey on the side with just a yarn and a hook without any crafter to talk to.

So I joined this community in hopes of making new friends and also gaining more knowledge not only about crochet but all things craft!

Nice to meet everybody and I hope to enjoy this stay Smiley

By the way, I am also an avid sketcher and gamer. Anyone who enjoys pencilworks or gaming, can we start being friends? *gets kicked* Ahahaha XD
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Molang the Fat Rabbit on: July 31, 2013 12:29:51 AM
Hi to everybody in the Craftster community. I'm Tomato Yarn and I'm a newbie to the forums. I'm still a bit confused with how the forum layout goes and I don't know if there is any thread that lets new people introduce themselves... (I've tried the search bar but there wasn't any hits, whoops!).
I do however already want to be active here and share my works with you all so I hope that doesn't bother anyone in any way ^^;

Here is one of my recently photographed works featuring Molang the Fat Rabbit!

Molang is a crocheted rabbit whose origin is South Korea. He is a cutesy bunny mascot with short limbs, arms and ears but very plopsy in nature. He is a naturally cute critter, don't you think?

^ Images are taken directly from my tumblr blog as I can't upload yet.

I hope that this creature brightens your day! Thanks for viewing this post and happy day to everyone in Crafster Smiley
