1  Advertisement for what? in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by ayeshcube on: April 11, 2007 03:05:45 PM
Hello all.
Well, this is not really art but I love it so much that I thought it best fits under 'art'.
after days of fighting with my boyfriend, we made up and i started taking fun photos with his phone and took one that i now adore. it reminds me of some picture from a magazine, an ad or something.
what do you think it could advertise?

2  Cartman in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ayeshcube on: May 07, 2006 11:52:48 AM
so usually when I try to reconstruct since I suck majorly at measuring whatever it is ends up crap and it doesn't fit. SOMEWAY SOMEHOW this shirt turned out nicely! I had a plain balck t-shirt that was suffocating me so I cut it into a halter and  then ironed on a picture of CARTMAN looking AWESOME! I used my webcam to take the pic because I was too lazy to hook up the digi cam, that's why the pic is kinda crap. Here it is:

4  not so special in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by ayeshcube on: February 18, 2006 04:06:22 PM
hello all,
well this isn't very impressive but it's still a craft so I decided to post it. I got one of those ikea mirrors a long time ago and painted it black and when my mini elvis calendar expired, I pasted some pics on. I did this a long time ago too, but never took any pictures until now. I love elvis. here you go: Kiss

8  My"imperfect but still beautiful woman" vase in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by ayeshcube on: December 20, 2005 12:12:32 PM
Okay so I wasn't sure whether to put this in housewears or art, so I chose housewares. One night last year I couldn't sleep and came up with a woman vase. So, the next day in my sculpture class I started working on it. I finally went back to the high school to pick it up, so here it is:

9  polka dot swivel chair in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ayeshcube on: December 20, 2005 12:07:33 PM
So, we went to *EVIL* Wal-Mart, and I found this pretty fabric which was soooo cheap! 1$ a yard, so even though I felt dirty, I had to buy some. I spent a dollar on it...I mean...wow. So, I finally reupholstered my chair! I didn't have a staple gun though, so I glue gunned it...haha I wonder how long it'll last. The top I didn't staple and it was unravelling, you know the fabric and all, so I glued a brown and blue polka dot ribbon around it, it's kept for a few weeks, so I'm happy.   Roll Eyes
thanks for looking Wink

I'm still eagerly awaiting my package. It's okay that your camera isn't working Tappanga, I took some pix just in case before senging. Here they are.

front of notebook
back I didn't take pix of the documents though.

I'm really glad you liked it Tappanga. It was my first swap so I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing.
