21  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Welcome To Night Vale Swap (SIGNUP 4/19/15-5/01/15 ; MAIL BY 5/22/15) on: April 22, 2015 01:56:31 AM
I am thinking about this one. Can we include our favorite quotes?

Yes! Sorry, I really should have asked that as a question!

But... But.... How on earth could I possibly pick a favorite?!

While I love the idea of this swap, I think I'll have to pass. It does seems like a wonderful tribute though and I certainly want to follow all the wonderful things that come from the participants.

What has 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon, and 3 in the evening? I don't know, but it has me trapped in the bedroom and is telling me I must join this swap! Only crafting will help!

Sending in my Questionnaire later tonight.

The picture is a thumbnail, so clicking on it will give a larger image.

As for getting it to grow longer... I found that putting something on the television that would allow me to knit without thinking was the best way for me to knit the scarf. After an hour or so of knitting without worrying about rows I could finally start to see progress.

Those all turned out gorgeous!

So, my boyfriend is from Arizona but now he's living in Oklahoma. That means sometimes it gets really cold here, and he's just not adapted for our winters at all. Since I took up knitting last year about this time, I offered in the fall to make him a scarf if he was interested. He accepted my offer so I let him pick out the yard I'd use and I got to work on his special request for an extra long scarf. Below is the result.

I finally got my bookmark from my partner zigg13pra after some delays thanks to the US Postal Service. Would have posted it earlier but had a busy weekend followed by a bout of food poisoning to start the week. All better now though.

I adore it! The different greens (my favorite color) really work well together.

I so swear I shall complete this 13 mini days of Halloween Swap or die in the attempt!

Okay, on a more serious note... I have 9 of the 13 projects done. Since I can't seem to sleep today going to knock another one out in the AM which will bring the total up to 10. I'm going to be doing a Halloween Memory game, so may decide to do two. One with an orange background, one with a black background, meaning I'd only have 2 more to go.

After this, no more projects with deadlines for me. Least not until I get hormones and such straightened out and back on an even keel.

Okay, I have failed to accomplish my goal in time to meet send outs... But I'm still working on my halloween items! I plan to get back to work on them tomorrow.

Sadly life has thrown several things my way this past week that just totally redirected my focus away from crafts and crafting. Had to pick a diet from the option doctor provided, then learn all I could about said diet and how to stick to it as of the 23rd of last month. Things are settling down though, so I hope to hammer out the last few projects to complete my fake swap by the weekend!

So I've spend the past week+ moving! I send mine out beforehand (thank goodness!) and did receive mine before I left.  I LOVE the ones I got! Thanks partners!

It's crazy to see how many cat lovers are in this swap. I love them all and want my own copies! We are currently staying in a hotel with our FOUR cats. It's... interesting.

I hope my partners get theirs soon, they should have already, but if not, I'll redo them. Sad

Glad you like the one's you've gotten! Nothing on my end yet, but I keep checking.

As for staying in a room with 4 cats.... Oh my! I've stayed in a hotel with just my one before, and that's an adventure all on it's own. Can't imagine adding 3 more cats to the mix!
