3  Re: Make Me A Purse/Tote And Fill It! GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by bywilma on: October 02, 2017 11:50:18 PM
I received from EdelC!! Here are the goodies:

First of all this beautiful hip bag! I love hip bags and I requested something with a bohemian feel. I also mentioned that I love things from recycled materials. So it is spot on!

Inside the bag were these two lovely pouches. One with a zipper for makeup with the same pattern as the hip bag and a smaller one she tie dyed and stamped for tampons.

Inside the zippered pouch were all these goodies! Two bottles of nail polish, a lip caramel lip balm (love the taste!), a rose pocket mirror and a super handy foldable hairbrush.

The 'tampon pouch' contained a delicious cookie Cheesy

Thank you so much for this great package EdelC!

Yay! I received from monkey_girl today! Here are my goodies:

First, I love this card she sends me with the package!

The main item was this beautiful box with a vintage skull on top. This will come in super handy for my craft room Smiley

I really like the bat fabric of this collar!

Next up: a beautiful necklace of two witches and a crow on a bicycle.

I also got this drawstring bag with cross bones and pumpkin ribbon. The fabric matches the box!

These notebooks are super cute. And look at the back!  Grin

And last: popping chocolate! My 4 year old son loved it so much!

Thank you monkey_girl!

I received two wonderful badges from Teag! Here they are:

I love how she combined painting with embroidery!

This happy camper badge is super cute. I absolutely love vintage caravans. We remodeled one ourselves too Smiley

The second one is a baking queen badge. I love to bake so this is perfect!

Thank you so much Teag, I love them both!

6  Re: Pumpkin Everything Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by bywilma on: September 20, 2017 08:59:12 AM
Yay, I received! And I got spoiled by Alwaysinmyroom! Here are all the goodies:

First I got these really beautiful crocheted pumpkins. They are so cute and well made! I love the curly fines on them (is that how you call those?)

I also got this ornament with the cutest pumpkin fabric and the words 'everything pumpkin' embroidered on two of the pumpkins.

I absolutely love these gift tags and my son already claimed some of the pencils. They are now magic wands and he turns everyone into monsters. Cheesy

If I say I got spoiled, I really mean I got spoiled! This small quilted table cloth is made with the most beautiful pumpkin fabric!

And last but not least I got these delicious threats. I never knew I would like roasted pumpkin seeds. I promise I will not trow them away the next time I make something with pumpkin.  Grin

Thank you so much Alwaysinmyroom! I feel so spoiled!

Oh wow, I just received my package from Fatewineroses and it's sooooo pretty!

Here are both badges together:

Aren't they pretty?

This is my Tea Queen badge. I absolutely love tea and I drink a lot of it. I also have a collection of teacups and teapots. So this is perfect for me. I also love how she put the text Tea Queen in the steam. I also think the shape of this badge is perfect for a queen Wink I was wondering, did you use tea to color the fabric?

I looooove this one, so much! This Happy Camper badge is my favorite out of the two. We own a restyled caravan from the late 1980's. We did the work last year and we had our first camping trip with it this year.

Thank you so much Fatewineroses! I love them both so much. You are so talented!

8  Re: Mini 12 Days of Christmas 2017 (sign up 7/18 to 8/4/17; s/o 11-25-17) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by bywilma on: August 19, 2017 12:00:36 AM
I live in the Netherlands and we don't celebrate Christmas with stockings, gifts and Santa as much as in the rest of the world. That's because we have Sinterklaas. We put our shoes in front of the fireplace or at the front door and we get pepernoten (bitesize Dutch cookies) candy and chocolate in them. If we were really lucky we got a small gift too. On December 5th we get bigger gifts. It all comes in a large burlap bag and Sinterklaas brings them with his horse who walks on roofs.

When we stopped believing in Sinterklaas we started to make Sinterklaas surprises and Sinterklaas poems for our gifts to eachother. A Sinterklaas suprise is a crafted item that contains a gift. The crafted item should be something related to Sinterklaas or to the receiver of the gift. This is my favorite part of Sinterklaas. We celebrate Sinterklaas with my family and me and my boyfriend are really fanatic when it comes to this. We made things like a dr Who Tardis for my sister, a minecraft lamp for my youngest brother and a house with a bike store for my other brother.

My brother now really has a bike store (back then he was just selling them out of his home) and he used the name and logo from our Sinterklaas surprise for his real store.

As for Christmas we always went to church and my brother (the one from the bike store) celebrates his birthday.

9  Red riding hood and the huntsman, Batman, and some kind of evil monk in Costumes: Completed Projects by bywilma on: August 10, 2017 11:24:00 PM
This was the second year at Castlefest for us. It's a medieval/fantasy festival in the Netherlands. This year we went as red riding hood and the huntsman and our son went as Batman. Totally unrelated, I know, but I just make him the costume he wants (as long as it's apropriate for Castlefest of course). He is a big fan of super heroes, so Batman was a logical choice for him.

Here are the three of us together.

Me and my boyfriend.

Some action shots of Batman. He took his role very serious.

With serious I mean really, really serious.

I also made this costume for a friend of us. The orb on the stick glows when it's getting dark. It's made with a solar light for the garden.

Thanks for looking!

10  Re: Christmas in July Round 2 in The Swap Gallery by bywilma on: July 21, 2017 08:39:27 AM
Yay! I received this beautiful package from Mlsocci74!

First up are these beautiful feather ornaments. I got about 25 of them! They are made with glitter paper and super pretty!

This is my favorite item: a garland with peace signs. I love how it looks in my garden but unfortunately we have way to much rain here in the Netherlands to leave them outside.

I also got two extra peace signs. I'm sure I will find something I can do with them!

Thank you Mlsocci74! I love it all!
