Actually, in my region, New years is the longest bar night of the year: they're allowed to serve 2 hours extra.

Do you go to brock?
You look familiar
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Her/His etched glasses housewarming gifts on: June 07, 2010 04:24:51 PM
I really love the silhouette motives. Smiley
I've had a lot of success using fabric paint to make the stencils. It doesn't usually bleed underneath because it forms a seal on the glass, and after you're done with the etching cream it peels right off.
Also, if you buy the ones with the application nozzles it can give you a lot of control when drawing on the stencil.
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Things with Tentacles Swap on: May 27, 2010 07:18:42 AM
I can't resist.
This sounds like a lot of fun.
I'll do it too.

It looks really cute with the rhinestones.

I've never done them with tape cassette cases, but My friends and I used to do something similar with cd cases. Smiley

cool idea. But aren't some of these copyright infringement if you're planning on selling them?
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Dog coats for my allergy ridden pug on: January 26, 2010 09:56:24 AM
My pug also had bad allergies. He would scratch until he'd rip out all his fur on his back, and start bleeding from the scratching and biting. This went on for a few years, until someone said that it might be a gluten allergy. Within 2 weeks of switching his dog food and no longer giving him table scraps he completely stopped digging at himself.
Maybe you could ask your vet about that?
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Diptych- Public and Private on: May 01, 2009 06:33:30 PM
lol, yeah I gave it to Catherine because I was probably just going to throw it in with the firewood and for some reason they both loved it. you should post yours! for the most part they were all pretty good, but I haven't seen any from Judy's class.
Bah, I would post mine, but I realized at the last minute I made it way too personal to be displaying at university. I ended up not even showing it in class, and arranging to show Judy in a private critique.

by the way, gratz on the featured project!

By the way, Judy brought your studio sculpture to show to our class. She practically thrusted it in our faces yelling "do thiiiisss!!!"

It was pretty awesome, I really liked the cardboard layers, I was working on something similar for mine, on a larger scale.
