1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Kraken!! or Squidlet. a.k.a. my first ever amigurumi :D on: May 13, 2013 01:41:06 AM
Hi everyone! After seeing all the amazing amigurumi pieces here so far, I've mustered up some courage to post my first attempt as well. This is Kraken, a strong-hearted baby squid gift I made for my boyfriend last week. I just started crocheting seriously about 3 weeks ago, so if you have any suggestions or comments, I'd love to hear them! Thank you.  Wink

18 inches!! Just the right size for hugging. Smiley Great plushie, better even than some I've seen at the actual stores.

7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: jake the dog. on: May 13, 2013 01:26:59 AM
"if there is enough interest perhaps i will upload a pattern" --> Yes please! I'd be thrilled to make Jake the way you did it (am just starting out with crochet and amigurumi and have already found a Totoro pattern to try out, but will definitely add Jake to my worklist if you decide to share the pattern. I'd be very grateful!)  Wink

These are amazing! The red panda is my favorite.. I'm such a beginner at amigurumi (just started crocheting seriously about 3 weeks ago!)  Cheesy

Is it ok if I ask where I might be able to find the patterns or book you used as reference for these cuties? (if I'm not allowed to ask this sort of question here, let me know, I'll edit my post asap! I'm new here)
