here's my mom's matching tattoo:

i definitely put the idea in her head, but most of the design is her idea. she actually had a seahorse stamp that she brought with her as inspiration. my mom is so badass.

according to the red cross new england:

"Potential donors who have received a tattoo in a state which licenses and regulates its tattoo establishments can donate blood (CT, ME, RI, or VT). In states where these facilities are not regulated, there is a 12 month deferral period (MA, NH and NY)."

so the only way my mom will get a tattoo with me is if she can continue to donate blood every 2 months. anyone know of a good shop in those states? please help, it's part of her christmas present and i'm running out of time.

my mom and i were planning on getting matching tattoos and i had the shop all picked out, but my mom is anal about giving blood. like, every chance she gets, she gives blood. in mass it's a law that you can't give blood for a year after you get a tattoo. however, someone at the donation center told my mom that the laws regulating tattoo shops in rhode island are different and that if we got tattoos there, she could still give blood in mass as much as she wanted.

so with that all said.... does anyone know of a good shop in rhode island?

that frog is soo cute! i've been thinking about incorporating a fibonacci spiral into a tattoo for a while. i love how you put it in your design. very original.

you think that's bad, i saw an apartment with carpeting in the kitchen. i don't know what went through their head.

your door is awesome, though. very creative.

i have a tattoo that goes all the way around my wrist like a bracelet. it hurt on the inside of the wrist, but it wasn't so bad that i wouldn't do it again. it'll be over so fast you won't even notice it.

good luck!
