11  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Painting Converse? on: July 05, 2005 11:48:05 AM
Ok, so I have a pair of dark blue low-tops that I dont mind messing about with because they were cheap and I only wear them for school (they match my uniform). I've wanted a pair of black ones for aaaggeess but cant afford 35 quid at the moment. I have previously dyed a pair of converse and the rubber parts became discoloured. So I've thought about using black acrylic paint to paint the fabric parts. Whaddya think? It should hold for a while, even sharpies seem to stick to those shoes.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cute Ringpull Bracelet on: July 04, 2005 12:56:27 PM
I had been trying to find the best way to do one of these bracelets and I discovered weaving them seemed the best option. I had no ribbon so i used black and silver piping stuff. The clasp was easy, it was just a loop of piping at the end which goes around another ringpull. Comments/critism appreciated.

I know the pic is a lil fuzzy but I have a crap camera Sad
13  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Green Day Heart Grenade Tee on: July 04, 2005 12:50:15 PM
Ok this was my first ever stencil and I thankfully didn't bodge it up Cheesy V. simple, i used acrylic paints I "borrowed" from art class (because i am too tight too use my own mainly because they weren't cheap) and ironed it on both sides to seal it. Comments/critism appreciated
