pretty straight-forward!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / sequin lillies. on: October 14, 2007 05:40:33 AM
I bought a fairtrade tee from Topshop that I was never going to wear. So after doing a japanese influenced project at art college, inspiration struck me!

There's 18 flowers in total, all individually handpainted with acrylic and textile medium, and three sequins individually stitched in the centre of each. It took a while to do, but I'm really pleased with how it came out Smiley Sorry for the blurry picture, I'll post some of the detail when I can find my camera!
3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / You've got your skin tights, colours on the floor! on: October 08, 2007 12:24:59 PM
I had no clue what to wear footwise to a Hadouken gig earlier this year, so I found an old pair of slip-ons I had never worn. It started off just me colouring some of the squares with highlighter pens, and then I ended up painting them  Grin!

The left shoe (which is shown on the right, ha!) consists of a mixtape and stars, the right shoe has a knock-off of the Hadouken logo, space invader and more stars Smiley
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / paintings, drawings, bleh. [img hvy] on: June 14, 2007 05:51:00 AM
i quit art at college after doing it for a week because i was sick of being told exactly what to draw. i haven't done art in over 2 years now, aside from the odd sketch or watercolour here and there.

i like to do a bit of manga too Smiley

i have an interview for a new art college next week, and would be grateful if anyone could help me with tips for creating my portfolio Smiley
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Don't you want to feel my bones? on: March 06, 2007 12:17:33 PM
Ok, so they're skulls.

They're the first proper earrings I've done :/
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Do your chain hang low? on: February 19, 2007 11:20:23 AM
So the story's like this; I was all set to go to a Klaxons gig last night, but realised although I was equipped with glow sticks, painted t shirts and neon nails, I had no nu-rave jewellery. I was looking around for something lying around I could shove a needle through and put on a chain, and I found these Hama beads I had an obsession with a few months back.
5 minutes later and I had constructed this;

And if anyone's wondering, the gig was great (:

Ok I'm sorry for the *lame* webcam pics but I've only just finished stencilling this tee and cant find my digital camera anywhere  Huh

I had to do two layers which was hard because I had to draw the dudes face (the big pink blob in the background) from scratch because the letters were covering it. The letters were easy to do though because they were solid.

Its the Mylo logo thingey:

Again, sorry for the bad pic. Makes the tee look green when in fact its white.
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Contents of a sketchbook <3 on: November 11, 2005 04:17:05 AM
Ok, so this was my sketchbook from when I was 14. There's not alot but I usually throw my work away so its rare that I keep my work. Enjoy.

This one was from the first Battle Royal book:

From when I became obsessed with drawing people with mental health issues:

Some rough pen sketches from the eighth Chobits book:

Not sure when or why I did this one:

Hobbit Hole from when I had a Lord of the Rings obsession:

Phoenix from a Harry Potter book cover:

A fashion illustration I did a while back:

Yuna from Final Fantasy X:

Sorry bout the crappy quality, scanner is broke and my camera is a load of poo Sad

10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / T Shirt Colour on: July 29, 2005 02:05:26 AM
So I have this orange t shirt. I ahrdly ever wear orange and I'm struggling to think of inspiration as to what I should stencil on it. I'm a fan of the misfits and the ramones etc but am thinking this wouldn't go with the orangey-ness  Huh
