1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / **UPDATED WITH ACTION SHOTS** Yummy Bandana Skirts (totally picture heavy!!) on: May 22, 2008 12:02:54 AM
I am so in freaking *love* with these skirts!!!  My favorite is the creamy yellow one with the red hearts.  Unfortunately I finished them after my girls went to sleep, so I wont have action shots until tomorrow.  I put an unfinished one on my 11 month old (who is TINY and still wears 6-9mo clothes) and it fits her really well and the same skirt should fit my 4 year old.  I'm so excited that I am going to make them matching skirts now  Cheesy

Here's my favorite:

I love all the rest, too....

I'm not sure about the color of this one.... the ribbon is supposed to match the small purple flowers (it's hard see the true colors in this picture), but the background really is a mustard yellow...  Tongue

Here is the first shot I got of my oldest, Emily... excuse her mess, she was going on a picnic LOL (blue flowers skirt):

Here is a little twirl action (blue roses skirt):

And being somewhat calm (mustard colored skirt):

Hope you like them as much as she does!!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My newest key fobs on: May 11, 2008 02:03:08 AM
I'm so in love with making these!!  This one is my favorite:

Here is a group shot:

What do you guys think?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Minky baby blankets on: May 06, 2008 10:19:41 AM
I've never worked with Minky before... it's kind of slippery and hard to get used to.  It was definitely worth it, though... it's SOOO soft.  My 4 year old daughter has autism (and sensory issues) and is in LOVE with the material.  She goes into  a trance almost when she's rubbing her hands all over the bumps, haha!

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Burp cloths / cloth diapers on: May 06, 2008 09:18:36 AM
I made some burp cloths out of some prefolds.  I love how these came out.  The first picture is a set I'm going to give to a dear friend of mine who's expecting.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Mini Wallets/Business Card Holders (Image heavy!!) on: April 24, 2008 01:38:55 AM
I'm jumping on this bandwagon and thought I would show off some of my newest creations:

6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Toddler Peasant Skirt and Shirt on: June 16, 2005 08:07:35 PM
Check out this cute skirt I made for my honey buns:

And here's the peasant shirt that I absolutely *LOVE*:

Can you tell that the flowered material is the exact same, only different color?  LOL.  I didn't notice it until I brought the red material home.  I just love them and my baby looks so cute in them!

Tell me what you guys think!!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / WATERMELON sundress - toddler size! So cute!! on: June 06, 2005 06:18:15 PM
Here's the newest sundress.  I made it a 3T and found out it was tooooo big for my daughter, so she's not modeling this time Sad  Just a hanger.  I'm going to make a really simple matching bag to go with it.  I'm going to try to sell it because by the time Emily is tall enough to wear it, it will be cold again.

Sorry about the dark pic...  I didn't have very good lighting.  It's a blue background with watermelon slices and emerald green bias tape (well, you can see where that is) and a matching green zipper in the back.  I just LOVE it and I'm so disappointed that Emily can't wear it Sad

On to the pics:

Hope you all like it!!

*edited to add the second pic which may have better color...
8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Cute Halter Top and Capris for a little girl!! on: June 03, 2005 12:20:15 AM
I got this awesome striped fabric out of my great-grandma's stash, so I have no idea how old it is.  But I thought it was adorable, so I drafted (MY FIRST TIME!!) a pattern for the halter top for my 15 month old daughter (isn't she gorgeous?   Grin).

The capris are made from some denim I picked up from Wal-Mart.  I also drafted these... that's why they are a teeny too short in the back (notice the dipe?) and are kind of wide through the legs.

Let me know what you guys think!  Smiley

9  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Renfair Dress!! on: May 28, 2005 08:56:32 AM
Hi, everyone!  I'm new here and this is my first post.  Since I found this site, I have spent hours browsing and got some really great ideas for lots of things.

Here is the pic of a dress that was made for renfair.  (Not made by me, but by my mother, who is totally awesome with a sewing machine!).

I'm going to be posting some pics of my recent projects soon.  (Gotta dig out that cam!)

I hope this isn't too big... *crosses fingers*

Hope to post on here much more often!
