Does anyone know of any good yarn sites that sells undyed yarn for dying...besides Knit Picks?

I'm looking for sock yarn weight...something very similiar to the infamous...KOIGU

Have you tried www.knitpicks.com?  There yarn is pretty inexpensive and I believe they have superwash wool.

I listen to the TV, unless I'm in the car...it's all about Jack Johnson, U2, Rolling Stones, Beatles or Elton John...hell, I just have the iPod on shuffle!

Not that I'm a sock pro....but I would definately advise that you start from toe up, just seems to make sense.  Then maybe increase (M1) in the ankle area....where then you can incorperate your own design (ribbing, and so forth).

Good Luck, And if anyone does have a pattern I'm curious to see it.  I'm sure its fairly simple.

Just one question....When you pull up the sock, is it a snug fit?

I used the royea site (Socks 101) when I learned...though, I used 5 needles instead of the 4 shown in the pics.
