1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Green and Pink Craft Room on: August 15, 2009 02:18:51 PM
Here's my new and improved craft space/office! I got two giant desks from Ikea and pushed them together to form an L shape. The short end is for my actual work-work, since I work from home a few days a week. The long desk is for sewing, etc. And the chaise lounge in the corner is perfect for crocheting and needle work! So far everything has been working out great. Except that the lounge is not so helpful for my productivity...  Smiley

Thanks for looking!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / CHRISTMAS!!! (lots o' pics) on: December 14, 2008 09:44:57 AM
Our Christmas decorations are finalized, so if you're not too tired of seeing Christmas trees and stockings, enjoy!

My husband and my stockings

And our furry children's stockings - the RNPW stocking is a solution to having four cats and a small family room. They have to share one stocking. I know, they're SO neglected.

This was another small space solution to the hold the Christmas cards we receive in one place (read- not getting knocked over and played with by the cats)

Advent calendar and glittery deer

Tin Santa letter holder

Out the front window... not particularly Christmasy, but I thought it needed a shout-out

And finally, the kitchen. Also not that Christmasy, save for the rug

Happy Holidays!! Also, I'm half-Jewish, so don't tell my mom I skimped on the Chanukah decorations Smiley
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered sailboat replica for my pop on: December 09, 2008 07:04:16 PM
Keeping along the theme of handmade (aka. I'm poor) Christmas presents this year, I embroidered an exact replica of my dad's sailboat, which is like his second child. I'm pretty sure he loves that boat more than me.

I started with this image but had to make lots of modifications, since I couldn't find an exact image of his ridiculous 42-foot boat.

Presented by the beautiful Winnie, who has already claimed the pillow...

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Gocco-ed Moleskines on: March 27, 2008 07:46:24 PM
It was my first time using my new Gocco - and it was SO much fun. It's super easy and I can already tell I'm going to have a new addiction...

These are some blank cards I did first...

And then the Moleskine mini notebooks...

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Button bouquets on: December 29, 2007 11:35:41 PM
I've made so many of these! They're so much fun to do and such a great way to destash the ridiculous amount of buttons I have  Smiley

Okay, I'm officially a huge dork. I just had to do the Eiffel Tower thing in Photoshop when this guy was done...

And here he is in everyday life...

(No pattern, I just winged it)

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered trees on: September 28, 2007 05:10:11 PM
I rarely embroider something so serious - I mostly embroider flash tattoo and retro type stuff, but I'm happy with how this came out  Smiley
