3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / time for tea - redone on: June 08, 2007 06:29:12 PM
I haven't screenprinted in a while, so this was a bit splotchy, but i ended up liking it.

I just redid the screen for the images above. It's a lot neater now.

i have concerns about the new placement. Is it too close to the boob?
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Club icon on: May 27, 2007 09:26:55 PM

I made this symbol for my club at schoo, the Society of Independent People, aka SIP. We're into alternative media, whatever that may be.

I was wondering what people thought about the design. feedback?
5  COOKING / Dessert / REALLY easy cupcake frosting with household ingredients that non-bakers have on: May 23, 2007 01:31:53 AM
Mocha Frosting

1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of refined sugar (or you can put granulated sugar in a blender like magic bullet for a minute)
less than a Tablespoon of milk
1 packet of mocha hot chocolate (or a packet of hot chocolate and 1 1/2 teaspoons of instant coffee crystals)

Cream the butter and add a couple of spoons of the sugar and mix. Add the tablespoon of milk and more sugar and mocha powders. Continue adding sugar and mocha powder and stir until it becomes thick like frosting. It's ready to be set on cupcakes Smiley
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / having inspiration blockage on: May 15, 2007 05:50:30 PM
Hello there.
I'm seriousy suffering from a lack of ideas. I want to draw and paint right now, but I have absolutely no idea of what to draw. I've looked through all my illustration books and watched lots of movies, but nothing. no. idea.

What I'd like for people to do is give me a suggestion, like a comission. A general idea, or a story or blog to be inspired from.
I reallllly appreciate your cooperation in alleviating the ache that dwells in the artsy side of my soul  Grin
7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Onesies for a super hip baby. on: May 14, 2007 01:31:24 AM
My librarian just had a baby boy named Jonah. My librarian is the faculty advisor for my alternative media club and he's hella awesome and he takes us to comicbook conventions. That's my story in a nutshell.

The first onesie is an R2D2 onesie

The second one is a superman themed onesie.
J is for Jonah!

The back is his name in crypton.

I took these on an imac with photobooth so all the images are flipped. But I don't think it's too hard to imagine.
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / my brother on: December 24, 2006 05:36:42 PM

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / i love andy warhol on: December 24, 2006 05:28:54 PM
I had bought a messenger bag for 3 dollars at a place that was having a sale. and it was terribly ugly and borin, so i decided to give to my brother. However, I had also gotten him an andywarhol ipod case to match the ipod my dad was going to give him, and so i decided to do something to the bag that would make it less dull.

i realize that this might not necessarily fall under this category, but i couldn't find any other one that is more suiting. and i think people here would appreciate it. perhaps.

10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Some Painting and a photo on: January 31, 2006 09:28:35 PM

Those were my paintings.

That was a photo I had taken, minue the words on the side. I had used it in a layout for a website, but that didn't work out.
