1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Electric Blue Dancing Dress on: April 20, 2009 11:53:54 AM

I spent a big portion of saturday sewing and fitting this dress, as I was supposed to go clubbing with a friend that night. She ended up canceling, but the dress turned out awesome.
I poked myself with pins so many times, it's not even funny. Well maybe it's a little funny. At least I didn't bleed on anything.
I started out with 4 rectangles like in the text tute for the green mini dress but my ribs are smaller than my hips so there was a lot of fitting involved and I did the top/sleeves way different, too.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Mr. Dangly on: April 17, 2009 08:50:42 PM
mr. Dangly is the funniest name I ever heard! Sounds dirty even though it's not!
Cute monkey/donkey though. Love the rainbow hair.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Blue shirt drafted by me on: March 11, 2009 09:08:03 AM
I drafted this pattern because my daughter has really long arms for her age I guess. All her shirts are turning into 3/4 length sleeved ones.

The seam running across her chest is also across the back. I think next time, I'll leave the back plain. the neck edge, sleeve edges and the hem are unfinished. I'll put the shirt through the laundry a couple of times to see how it holds up.

I really like your hat. The colours of the stripes are perfect with the patons in between them
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Blue Bonnet- my own pattern on: March 04, 2009 03:40:50 PM
Flapper-ish was my intent! Thank you!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Blue Bonnet- my own pattern on: March 04, 2009 08:50:27 AM
This fits me perfectly and it's the perfect blue. I love it.

Miters are my new best friends.

The pattern is on my blog if you want it.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Smock Coat on: March 02, 2009 05:34:23 AM
What a beautiful coat. I love that you made it black for a baby.
That's a whole lot of knitting! Lovely work.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Teal Handwarmers on: February 13, 2009 12:19:39 PM

I made these handwarmers to keep warm while i'm sewing in my sewing room, which is in the basement. The yarn is red heart soft and the pattern is Toasty by Leslie Friend.

I looove rick rack. And I love to crochet. Thus the green rick rack scarf is born:

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Pretty Little Stitch Markers {Pic Pudgy} on: February 11, 2009 11:16:41 AM
My favorites are the mother-of-pearl ones, closely followed by the blue and white china-looking ones.
