Okay, so the new movie is coming out soon, so who is up for a dotee swap, two or three partners you list your favorite characters and each partner crafts one dotee for you Grin

I totally can't organize this, but would be up for participating it if send offs were in August Wink

Yes, I can't resist it any longer...and besides, the LAST MOVIE IS COMING OUT SOON! I'm totally justified, right?

DIY bubble mailers

You can also use paper bags or multiple pages from a magazine to make thick mailers, just cut and sew around the edges.

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Make me Into a Dotee swap on: March 26, 2011 06:58:35 PM
You would get three partners.

Part of the questionnaire would have the form below that you would fill out to create your character. Each partner  then constructs a dotee based on your character design. It would be fun to see how your partners envision your character!

The form:

Brief bio-at least five sentences describing your character

Eye color

Hair color

Fave colors

Any other pertinent information

I can't organize though  Undecided

Hello hello! So the January baby/kiddo birthday swap is nearing an end (Jan 26th is the last day for signing up), and I was wanting to see if there was an interest to make this a monthly swap. I won't be able to organize for awhile, but would love to see this become a regular swap like the monthly birthday swaps!

For more information about the swap, please view the links below:

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Newborn hoodie help on: January 18, 2011 05:17:46 PM
I'm wanting to make this for my newest addition but am getting confused with the pattern the sleeves and hood mainly.
9  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Hospital slippers on: January 18, 2011 11:58:17 AM
Slippers I made for when I go to the hospital to have my baby Grin Made from a McCalls vintage pattern.

You can't tell from my crappy phone picture, but the bias tape is navy, it was really the only color I had that even remotely matched.

The straps are a marbled burgundy snuggle flannel, the top sole is a quilted and batted fabric, the inner layer is thick fleece, and the bottom is canvas.

By the way, I hate bias tape. I love using it, but suck at it so bad and always have to redo stuff:P

This is a quick little earring swap for all of you jewelry junkies Wink

You will have ONE partner.

You will be crafting 7 pairs of earrings for your partner based on the 7 colors they choose.
For example, someone could choose the 7 colors of the rainbow, and you would have to craft one pair of earrings for each color: 1 indigo pair, 1 violet pair, 1 blue pair, 1 green pair, 1 red pair, 1 orange pair, and 1 yellow pair.

Personally, I'm not choosing the colors of the rainbow.

You will have about 3 weeks to craft before the send off date.

Communication is very very important! Make sure to keep in contact with your partner and me via PM and the rest of us via this thread.

If you want to participate, information to send to Dizzerspinninround:
