11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Bead and Knot Cord Bracelet on: April 10, 2013 08:11:26 PM
This was a fun bracelet to figure out how to make. I had just seen a picture of something similar. I'm looking forward to making a few additional colors for summer.

12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / T-shirt bracelet - finger weaving on: March 27, 2013 08:59:06 AM
Anyone else remember doing this finger weaving/knitting as a kid with yarn? I tried my hand at doing it with a cut up t-shirt. Success! I'm ready for some summertime casual now! Too bad there's still snow on the ground in Iowa.

13  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Personalized State Wall Art on: March 25, 2013 04:24:01 PM
I'm working on a gallery wall for my dining room to highlight the city we live in. We both grew up and met in Iowa, so I wanted to show where we were from and where we met in one of my pieces. This canvas art was pretty simple and only took about an hour after I had my stencils done.

14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Hand Print Easter Bunny on: March 24, 2013 07:42:23 PM
It's only recently that my 4-year old son has liked to do arts and crafts with me. He seems to really like to paint lately though, so I took advantage of that to make this cute hand-print Easter bunny canvas. He was so proud to write Happy Easter on it. Smiley

15  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Framed Monogram Letter on: March 18, 2013 08:55:46 AM
I've been working on a monogram gallery for my mantle, some with purchased letters I've found interesting and then I've also made a few. I completed a new one a few weeks ago and it was super simple and fast. All you need is a frame, paper or fabric, a wood letter from the craft store, craft glue and a glue gun. I didn't paint my letter but you could.

16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Double Framed Family Tree on: March 18, 2013 08:30:08 AM
I've finally finished this project after it being on my to-do list for at least 6 years! It really didn't take me that long after I got down to business. The most time consuming part was tracking down all the family birth dates for a few generations back. A few frames, cardstock and voila!

17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Tube Bead Wrap Bracelet on: March 11, 2013 03:18:14 PM
I'm still trying to use up some of the bead stash I accumulated over the holidays when I was making several gifts. This tube bead wrap bracelet was super quick and I think it turned out pretty cute. Perfect for layering with other bracelets!

18  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Burlap Monogram Letter with Wedding Date on: March 04, 2013 07:55:30 AM
Burlap + Stencil + Sharpie + Frame = Nice Handmade Gift Idea.

I saw something similar on an Esty site and I wanted to recreate it for my initial gallery I'm working on for my mantle. It's a very easy and inexpensive project, once you have the stencil done.

19  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wrap bracelets on: February 25, 2013 11:53:51 AM
I think I might have a slight bead addiction after doing several of these wrap bracelets for Christmas gifts. I just kept buying more beads. Now I need to scour the community for some more ideas to use them up. I've told myself no more beads until I use up a good portion of my stash! I still need to make myself one, just not sure which color yet.

20  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Penny Letters on: February 18, 2013 05:46:57 PM
I'm still trying to decide where to put these. I'm thinking they may stay on top of my kitchen cabinets, but I'm also considering a shelf above my mantle or above a photo collage in our loft/office.

This was a pretty quick and easy project minus waiting for dry time. All you need is bronze metallic paint, pennies, craft glue, modge podge or other clear finish.
