After lots of debating and writing and debating some more I think I finally have the beginnings of my Love to Do List!

Love To Do List:
1: Doll house--I just proposed this as a OWL. I hope finishing up this long undone project is as cool as I imagine
2: Christmas Dress--I bought the fabric and notions to make this dress over a year ago! Time to make it for this next Christmas
3: Christmas Quilted Table Rug--I have tons of Christmas cotton fabrics around the house. I plan on making them into a simple table runner for a side table in the living room.
4: Fire Bead Necklace--I've been meaning to make this for awhile. I have all the beads all ready to go. Just got to assemble everything.
5: Frog Cross Stitch--My MIL received this little froggy cross stitch for Christmas. She can't do cross stitch, her eyes just can't. So I asked if I could do it for her. I started this a little before Christmas and then set it aside. Time to pick it up and finish it. (WIP)
6: Little Pink Dress--Another sewing project that I have everything ready to go. Just have to make it happen.
7: Cupcake Pillows--I'm making a pattern to make some little cupcake throw pillows for my bed. I've had the fabric for over two years! (Is that considered stash now?) I'm going to draft up a pattern and make three little pillows.
8: Magical Creature Paintings--I have wanted to paint up some HP Magical Creatures. Seems like this year is a good time to try them out. I want to start with three paintings.
9: Pink dyed Valentine's Dress--I have some fabric from my mom's stash that is cute little red hearts on a white background. The cotton fabric will be perfect for a little dress for Valentine's Day. But I don't really like white fabric. So I will be dying the fabric pink before making it into a dress.
10:Blue Bead Statement Necklace--I don't have a solid idea about this one yet. I just know I want something blue and "watery" to counter my Fire Bead Necklace. Hopefully some shopping about in my stash and the store will yield an awesome shimmery blue necklace.

That's it for now. I really think that I'll probably add a couple of more before the end of the year but these are the top of the list.

OWL Proposal:
Subject: Potions Option 1
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Doll House Completion
Project Description: When I was a young teen (like 14) I was gifted a doll house kit. I put most of it together, sans staircase and roof tiles, and then promptly didn't finish the project. Now, 23 years later, I would like to complete my little doll house.(My dad has kept it in storage this whole time! So sweet of him!) I want to finish off the staircase, do all the painting of the house and trims, decoupage all the roof tiles with paint chips samples, wall paper and paint the four "rooms" of the house, decorate with some custom painted furniture, and if I still feel like it needs more I would like to make a felt "tower" for the side of the house (non-functional of course.) All of this will include lots of different colors, mostly pastels I think, and will have more than one texture, especially if the tower gets constructed. The doll house is a two story house with four rooms so the project isn't too huge. I think that it will take me at least four weeks to complete everything.

NEWT Update: I haven't even started! I feel so bad about that but I got scared when I pulled out the graph! It's so complicated! So I plan on starting that soon and hope to get finished by not this next Christmas but the Christmas after.

Love the Love To Do List Challenge!

I'll have to think extra hard about what projects should be put on my list. Question: Can I change my list during the year if I have other projects I'd rather do come up or is my original list set in stone? And can I make my list at any time? Like I'm not sure I have ten projects on my to do list right now but I will if I think long enough, so can I make my list in say June and it still count for the challenge?

This is the Transfiguration Classroom

It is most important that you remain on time and focused for this class! Every minute of practice will make your rabbits into slippers better!

I've been commissioned to paint a floor for a man cave/game room. Because this project is so large but not large enough to last long enough for an OWL, I've decided to turn in the different areas of the room as separate projects. I hope this is okay. Each section of the room took me between 1 1/2 to 3 hours to complete.

Subject: History of Magic
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Sea Turtle and fishies by the door
Project Description: I painted this sea turtle and three fish by the door to the game room that I am currently painting. I was super excited to try my hand at tropical fish! I did koi fish on a floor a few years ago and this is the first time I've been asked to do tropical fish. So in this part of the room I put a sea turtle, a blue tang (hello dory!), a blue and gold angel fish?, and a puffer fish.

Subject: Transfiguration
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Message in a Bottle and Shark
Project Description: In the game room my client is going to have a pool table. Around it he wanted to have a shark coming out from the wall with its fin showing and then a message in a bottle saying "rack 'em"  These are on opposite sides of the pool table. Not pictured is a floating "Danger Shark" sign near the wall with the pool stick rack. (it took me a minute to realize that he was going for a "pool shark" theme around the pool table... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy) The light around the shark was really bright making it kinda hard to see...and I didn't get a good picture of my clown fish...but the bottle itself took me a good thirty minutes all by itself to complete. I used a lot of water to make the wash for the shark and the bottle. And lots more to paint all the fish and stuff on the floor

and for fun there was a little pirate flag by the bar
