Join us Cheesy
Even if you don't use up all your stash, everything you do helps Cheesy

Ooh, lovely diaper bag! Shocked It's big enough but not enormous! Wise choice!
I always shake my heads when I see parents with diaper bags that look a small suitcase. Those have to get heavy and are probably full of things they don't actually need to have.

Yeah homemade jerky is usually a little drier/stiffer than the store bought stuff. There's a meat market (butcher shop) near me that sells jerky they make themselves. It's the best jerky ever, even if it is a bit dry.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Kinda Coraline Repainted Doll on: June 07, 2018 12:07:16 AM
I'm sorry I'm late to the party but she's awesome! Shocked
Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls are fun to repaint because their big heads make them so much easier to work with. They're also great to practice on Cheesy
Also, Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls are a bit harder to customize because of the tiny neck hole and the fact that the head is a thicker vinyl. I have a nearly finished KKH custom that I had to cut a hole in her head to get all the gunk out. I need to go finish up her hair and find her dress. **scurries away to work on her**
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fingerless gloves and other ideas on: June 05, 2018 02:34:38 PM
I've not made a lot of sales myself (I haven't put in the effort, honestly) but the few sales that I have made, have been hats and fingerless mitts.
Generally, hats and gloves/mitts/mittens are quick to sell, if you price them right.
There's actually a forum for business advice where folks who make a living off their crafts could probably better help you.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Probably a silly question but asking anyway! Acrylic sweater? on: June 05, 2018 02:32:00 PM
Ooh! That would make a soft sweater!
And here I had given up on the idea of making a sweater unless I bought wool!

Mistress T, your two cross-stitches have given me the giggles. I especially like the "have a nice poop" one.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with such an eclectic taste in music!
I love a lot of the music recommended by CraftADDchick and SBC! And there are some that I need to look into because their titles are intriguing.

I need to look up some of these songs, too! Can I ask which ones intrigued you the most?

Shambala by Three Dog Night and A Girl, a Boy, and a Graveyard by Jeremy Messersmith. Their titles are very interesting.

Does rescuing a doll's hair from being chopped off count as a craft? I haven't decided who/what to make of her yet, but I was able to save her hair.

Before (alongside an Elsa who is also going to get a rescue/make-over):
