pinokeeo that cup assistant is brilliant!

rantyhippie I love your Halloween card ornaments. They're super cute and fun Smiley And the beaded ones are pretty too!

New dolly WIP:

I have to trim her hair, apply her lashes, and make her clothes but I'm super proud of her little sneer. Putting her head back on was a hecking pain in the neck because the 17" dolls' heads are made of a thicker vinyl than the small dolls. That means I could just give it a light squeeze and pop it back on. Instead, I had to use my blow dryer to heat up the vinyl around the neck hole so it would soften so that I could put it back.

That's a lovely curtain you fixed up, MistressT. I'm sure your friend appreciates it Smiley And that taco truck card is fun. I love it.

CLM I love your crocheted cacti. Maybe I ought to make some for my one aunt who has a black thumb! Cheesy

skatergirl your quilt is awesome! Jellyfish are such strange and beautiful creatures.

Does fluorescent green count for the May challenge? Grin Because I have a WIP doll who has lovely green hair. Just have to trim her hair, apply her lashes, and make her clothes.
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Reusable shopping bags on: May 22, 2019 11:55:53 AM
hat-and-bag-lady I keep the bags in my car Smiley As soon as I get home, I empty the bags and toss them back onto my front passenger seat.
As for the Saints fabric, I can't find this or any other prints locally. Which is rather strange considering I'm in Louisiana. I can find LSU Tigers fabric all day but not Saints Huh But it's okay because I have some Pink Panther fabric my mom really liked that I'll use instead Smiley

JS I love the diploma snacks :d Very cute and fun!

Pinokeeo your bathroom remodel is awesome! Shocked One of these days I want to give that a try.

I need to get good pics of this girl now that she is complete:

I was going to do it today but it was overcast and it's pouring rain right now so I'm guessing it will probably be just as dreary tomorrow Tongue

I have a project that I made in the proper time frame but I revealed part of it (her face) in a craftalong. Can I still use the doll? I also made her an outfit and customized a pair of shoes (waiting on those to dry so I can put them on and do photos)

I'm about to start a project. Let's see if I can finish it before the 7th. If not, I still love seeing what y'all made Cheesy

Cute kitty and love the blanket!
That reminds me: I have some pretty green yarn I specifically bought to make a blanket.
10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Re: Pin-up style outfit and leggings for 17" MH dolls on: May 01, 2019 12:11:40 PM
Thanks Cheesy

Nice job on your garments, looks like something Frankie would wear at Skull Shores to me.  I've never tried (I've only sewed, and badly, for Barbie dolls), but, I imagine MH dolls are a little trickier to make clothing for given their unique body shape, although this being the 17" variety, that's probably less of an issue?

Oops! Forgot to mention I got the patterns from DG Requiem on Etsy. I have tried pattern making for Monster High dolls and had minimal success. Their arched backs make it harder to make patterns Tongue I've made patterns for Barbie before though. It was much, much easier.
