31  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Holiday List Swap Discussion and Gallery Round 10 - 12 on: October 08, 2013 08:59:10 AM
I'm thinking Averia should just change her screen name to Awesome.   Grin

Those critters are going to make one adorable mobile, grabacoffee!

And holy cow, watson, you're just cranking them out - the last couple posts look like you're on a mission to "reduce, reuse, and recycle" in the kitchen!  Nice enviro-friendly pieces!

I hope that I don't get to feeling lazy and deciding to spend the weekend in bed or on the couch munching on popcorn and watching movies!

See, there's another one of those posts that makes me giggle............only because that has been me!!   Grin

I claim Averia for some dichroic pendants in blue and some other fun stuffs in blue!  This is my 2nd claim this round.  2,0,0)

Hi, all!  Im Tracy from Idaho, USA.  Thank you in advance to whoever chooses to claim me.  My hubby and I have two college-aged boys and live with three furry family members a 17 year old Australian Shepherd, a 13 year old Sheltie, and the spoiled rotten baby-dog a sixish year old mini Aussie.  We are a non-smoking home.  We have no allergies though I might as well have a vegetable allergy.  Our boys both go to Boise State, so they are close by and often come home for weekend projects and dinners.  The oldest is currently restoring a 1980 Jeep CJ5 and the younger one races Mini Stocks at the local circle track so there are always projects to be worked on.  We own a trucking company and are huge Boston sports fans so vintage jeeps, Peterbilt trucks, Red Sox, Bruins, and the Patriots are all great unconventional theme ideas.

I am partial to neutrals and rustic dcor, though a splash of happy color is always a welcome addition to any room.  I prefer fun functional items over knick knacks.  I am an organization junkie.   I prefer fresh, clean scents like mint and citrus to soft floral scents.  Im partial to silver over gold when it comes to jewelry.  I mostly work with fused glass, though I am learning to be better friends with my sewing machine and I love to learn new things currently grabbing my attention are metal stamping and soap making.
I also have a list going over on the Ongoing Holiday List Swap, so feel free to check that out, too!

That's one awesome package of spoilage from Kookaloo!  What an adorable model!  I also got spoiled this week!  redstar sent me an AMAZING package of goodies for my brother's new baby............which we just learned this week will be a boy!  I actually received on Thursday, but had unexpected out of town company come in that same day and have been a bit busy ever since.  I apologize for the icky photos - snapped in a hurry and in terrible light!

First up, an awesome taggie blankie for the new wee one:

Next, an amazingly generous assortment of flannel backed burp cloths!

And then..............an incredible car seat cover up!  These are the coolest!  So very, very generous of you, redstar!  I love the chevron and I'm so excited to be able to gift this to them!

Goodness, redstar, I just cannot get over how over-the-top generous you were with this claim!  Thank you so very much.

Don't you just love when that happens?  I stumbled across one of those 'Oh!  I know exactly what to do with this' items over the weekend!  Woot!

I've been having a smidge of anxiety about this swap since I realized we were at the halfway mark, but then I sat down to organize things a bit last night and realized this package is coming along quite nicely!  Double woot!
