1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: anyone can figure out the pattern for this gorgeous cardigan??*Expert needed on: June 12, 2008 05:52:14 PM
That is cute!! Here's one that's kind of the same, single-breasted, no cables:

But it's a shawl collared cardigan, so it's a start....

Now how did I miss that one? That looks like a great place to start; same funnel neck, etc. Thanks!

Thanks! I think I could do that...just thought I'd put it out there, because I'm kind of lazy.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Looking for a pattern like this one... on: February 13, 2008 05:50:31 AM
I found this on eBay, it's a handknit copy of a Dries van Noten sweater. Has anyone seen a pattern anywhere for something like this? It looks like it's knit horizonally in the stockinette part. Looks so familiar....Thanks in advance!

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Ready to Sew Up, Can't Find Pattern! on: September 26, 2007 10:17:42 AM
Hi there, everyone. I feel so stupid, and I'm hoping someone here will remember this pattern. I decided, after about a year (it may be even longer, I'm ashamed to say) to finally sew this thing up, and I have totally, completely forgotten what the pattern was!

Anyway, I know I saw it here on Craftster, and the woman who had made it said her husband said "You made that??!" (in a good way). It's a very flattering fitted l/s pullover with a very deep ribbed v-neck, and about 7-8 inches of ribbing at the waist.

I know I could probably just go ahead and put it together myself, but I really would like finished measurements after blocking, plus I'm not sure there isn't something wacky going on with the collar.

Any help would be appreciated!!

This is beautiful! I'm not a fan of variegated yarn (on the skein, yes; knitted up, not so much...), so thank you for this!
