Here's an updated pic of my Clapotis-in-progress. I'm making it out of Brooks Farm Yarn in Four Play. I had the chance to feel up a Clapotis in the Lion & Lamb, and I have to say that the Four Play comes close, and is a LOT cheaper. The L&L is still softer and smoother (the colors also seem to distribute themselves better), but you are paying a LOT for that softness and smoothness!!

Abinka, how pretty!!

You used the Royal Silk by Artyarns? I'm dying to make a Clapotis in a 100% silk yarn (I want a turquoise one!), but it's too spendy for me right now, and also, I haven't felt it up yet.

I'm currently making one out of Brooks Farm Yarn Four Play (50% wool, 50% silk- way, way cheaper than the Lion & Lamb!). It's pretty good, but I would love a more summery Clapotis.

Here's a picture of my Clapotis, very early on. I just finished the 6th increase section, so I have one more to go, and I may add another increase as well.
