1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Unlabeled Interfacing on: October 04, 2017 12:51:18 AM
I have a collection of interfacing that I got from a thrift store that are unlabeled and different textures. Is there a way to tell the difference between them without wasting any on testing?

I'm wanting to start a project that requires water soluble interfacing but I can't tell which one it is. Help me!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Round Border Stitch? on: July 31, 2015 11:21:20 PM
I wish I had taken a finished product photo. But I ended up making the border square and did a pink to purple gradient that echoed towards the middle. I liked it but could've definitely done better had i planned better.

It's not a pattern, and I don't know what motif you were looking for, but a laurel wreath is very forgiving and can be easily resized. Similar to this one:

I like it! But just....how! *whines* It really shouldn't be this hard!
I feel like i'm missing something, not looking in the right places. I'm glad I have time, but I would feel so much better if I could knock this out sooner rather than later.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Round Border Stitch? on: July 02, 2015 12:42:25 AM
Stitching a Claddagh for a friend's birthday (July 18th) and I can't find a method of stitch to add around the border, at least not a round border. I've been on google for the last 3 hours and i've found swirl like borders but no How to's.
The Aida is 14 count, and hoop is 4in.

Any suggestions?

(oh btw, I've fixed the right hand since the picture was taken)

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: looking for Victorian-style pug dog collars (there is one seller on etsy) >>> on: December 14, 2013 10:00:53 AM
I'm assuming this is the seller you're referring to? ee333 and these are the collars?  Victorian Pug Collar

But wow those are gorgeous. But they look like they could be easily hot glued/superglued/sewn onto average collars. I dont see how much harder it could to make.
