the jacket looks great!
i was trying to find a picture... i actually do still wear it with a shirt over it cause i like the way the skirt hangs. Smiley

the dress i got was blue silk with a rose pattern that looked sort of like lace? it had, i think, princess seam? i wore it all summer and then i picked up a little "winter weight" and popped a side seam. I still love it though, i keep it hanging outside the closet so i can look at it all the time.  Smiley

thats the coolest baby gift ever! i think handknit toys are a better bet than sweaters, they always grow out of clothes in a week but toys are gonna get passed on. especially if they're awesome dinosaurs. where did you get the pattern?

crazy scarves are very subjective to personal taste. that said, I love this scarf and I think you did an excellent job. the colors are perfect. make sure you keep it away from the dogs- my dog recently tore apart a merino hat i made for my mother. they really appreciate hand knit toys.  Wink
