1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Finished Christmas Presents (swear words inside) on: November 18, 2012 12:38:27 PM
Yep, I only started cross stitching in June, and that was when I found all these patterns and started doing them. It is the craft I picked up the quickest. Thanks! I still have a few more to make, I am so excited!

This year I decided I would cross stitch Christmas presents for my friends and family (I'm going to start embroidering some now, too!) Here are the ones I have finished:

These are my first cross stitching projects, and I got a few patterns from subversive cross stitch, and a few from other places online. I had the frames left over from Ikea, from a project I wanted to do a few years ago, but they worked perfectly for these. I painted them colours that I thought matched with the project inside!

Hello! This is my first post here Smiley

I started this kind of needlework recently after a friend got interested in it, normally I do cross stitch. This is the first project I did, a christmas tree on a tea towel! I took it from this website: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2012/11/02/sketchy-christmas-tea-towel-tutorial/

I don't have an iron, so it gets to stay wrinkly for now :p

I really like how it turned out!
