1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Happy Sheep and Sun Pouches on: June 26, 2006 01:35:48 PM
This was my first time doing the tag on the outside, and I think I like it. The ones that I used are a bit long, but I don't think they look too bad. Any feedback on that, or the colour combinations, craftmanship... anything, would be really great.

Sorry about the graininess of the pictures - I take them and they look great, but resizing them does awful things.

Thanks for looking!

2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Vinyl Keychains - Opinions and input, please! on: June 01, 2006 11:54:24 AM

I posted these keychains that I made in the Trinkets and Jewellry section of the board, thinking that would be the best place, but I haven't gotten a lot of feedback, so I thought I would try here.

I got the idea for these while I was working on some bags for my (sort-of) store/company, and I think they would sell, but one can never be too sure and I have NO clue how much to even charge for them. They are made from vinyl and interfacing, two gold coloured jump rings and a split ring. They are approximately 4 x 3 inches.

Hi, I normally post on the Purses, bags and wallets area of this site, but I have recently made these keychains alongside my bag adventures and figured this was the best board to put them up on. I've been thinking about listing them in my psuedo-store, but I have no idea if they will sell or how much to charge for them.

Any and all opinions would be really great, thanks!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Vinyl Pouch & Keychain on: May 15, 2006 12:20:25 PM
I would love to hear/read your opinions on these two new items I made.
This pouch is just a prototype, and though the exact copy is not available for sale, I will be making more.

I decided to try out a keychain and I really like it, but it really needs some interfacing to make it stronger. I also need to find a smaller ring. Sorry the first picture is out of focus - sometimes digital cameras suck! Also, I know a keychain isn't a bag, but since it is kind of in that same realm, I figured it would be okay to post here. If it's not, I can definitely take it down.

The totebag and first pouch are a custom order and the vinyl pouch is a prototype.

Hi, I've just recently decided to start selling handmade bags and I'd really value your opinions on:

[1] The name I've been toying with: Acorn Factory!
[2] Two of my prototypes: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=90496.0
[3] I was also wondering if most of you make your own labels or get them done (and where).

What I'm planning on doing is making some bags and pouches for sale, but mostly doing custom orders.
Do you like them? Would you by them or something like those prototypes?

Please help!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Vinyl Wristlet and Totebag on: April 17, 2006 12:30:41 PM
I've been thinking about getting into the handmade bag business and even though these are just my first attempts (my stitchwork needs some improvement), I was wondering what the lovely crafsters here thought of them. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated (unless it's really mean...).

I made this wristlet with navy and white vinyl and a bird patterened cotton lining. It has a single cell phone pocket and zipper closure.

This totebag is made with a heavy pink cotton and white vinyl applique with a black and white checkered cotton lining. It has a double pocket. I should have added interfacing because it's really floppy.

Thanks for looking!
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / White Stone Bracelet on: August 13, 2005 07:06:49 PM
I was inspired by the bracelets in Janakisses' post and so excited to finally undertsand the floating bead look that I had to make one for myself. I also made one with wire for my boyfriends mom (I haven't taken pictures of that one, though). I'm peased with them both... any thoughts?

My first bracelets! The pink one is a birthday present for my boyfriend's sister and the black one is just for fun (the bead in the centre is actually a deep red).
These took me about five hours because they decided to keep breaking on me.

I finished them and secured them so well I almost broke my pliers.

I hope you like them; I'm pretty pleased considering the struggle.

These are my fourth pair of earrings and I'm extremely happy with them.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated!
