Thanks  Grin

You know, I was actually thinking of something along those lines... They have that program on photobucket to turn a photo into a line drawing, I wonder if I could make a pumpkin of my kid to give to the Grandparents...Huummmmmm. Thanks for the idea!

I got a bunch of those small Sugar Pumpkins to practice on before I get a big one to carve. Here are the first 3. I have some more I will work on this weekend. Any suggestions what I should do next?

Hello Octopus

Hello Seahorse

Really cute!!

I have a couple questions...what did you use to stabilize the fabric? What does the inside look like? Does it irritate baby's skin?

Thank you! Nothing to stabilize! It was kind of difficult to get the stitches to look correct and the fabric not all bunched up. I am so cheap though...

The inside was a mess of DMC, and extremely scratchy due to some of the threads being metallic - So after I was done I cut out small pieces of light-colored felt to fit the design and glued them in with washable fabric glue. Not professional-looking, but who is going to see the inside except the laundry lady? Cheesy

Here is a onesie that I stitched up over the past couple of nights. The birdies are from the SS Craft Pad, the little letter boxes I stitched on a whim to make it more interesting.

Thank you thank you! I had given up on embroidery for a while because I was getting so frustrated. Love the Lefties Diagrams.
