1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / the colorful summer necklaces on: June 07, 2013 10:14:08 AM
I was trying to make a necklace out of my round gem stone collection. actually they were half strings or in limited number or even a full string which I had no idea what to do with. I am a gem lover so I had collected them in a long time and I was avoiding to make a simple one type stone necklace out of them. So I came up with a combination of color and size to make a new necklace for myself. The result gave me such a good feeling that I tried to make a couple of necklaces till today. If you have the same problem with your lovely collection try that  Smiley Wink

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Vine branches on: November 03, 2012 07:28:47 AM
It was a while I was thinking of making vine branches into a necklace! It is a friends birthday tomorrow and I was planning to make a necklace I can wear with a gray velvet blouse! I put whole spare times of this week to make and destroy my crafts and play with wires to produce the shape enough satisfying for me! Well finally this was the the necklace I made!

It is made by twisted silver filled half round wire, sterling silver stardust beads and indian leather, the clasp and extender is also sterling silver, the leather is connected to end caps by glue which I found very durable and a wire wrapped labradorite briolette and a grape leaf (which is more like a maple leaf I guess!) are hanged from the twisted wire! Smiley I twisted the wire around a pencil and then twisted the two ends more to make them tighter and smaller! the shape of the twist is completely free and randomized! Smiley
You can also try to make it if you liked Smiley
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / spring to autumn on: October 08, 2012 12:12:45 PM
I had a post previously with my leather necklaces and gemstones, I made a new necklace, inspired with a photo of spring and autumn leaves. the color variation is so touching that I just wanted to have them in a stuff close to me! so I made a necklace the same style of my previous post but with the color variation of spring to autumn leaves!

here it is : Smiley

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / leather cords lead! on: September 27, 2012 06:15:43 AM
Playing with pearls and leather using the lovely concept of making bead necklaces with pearl and leather instead of elastic cords and usual beads, I was driven to dangling pearls hanging from leather necklaces! like a grass area with blades of grass floating by wind. Then it went further! to gloomy moons of Halloween! or the flashy sparkling stars of night! or they can make no image really! Smiley but it was the result of my work! Smiley

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / graduate bracelets on: September 20, 2012 02:35:52 PM
It's a while that I have begun to make graduate bracelets and wire bracelets, The color and combination of them are what makes them lovely and favorable.
for me the gem stones have always been the center of inspiration, I love to work with them, their color never changes, they are hard and they hardly get scratched, and they have a wide variety of colors. The other fact I always love about them is that they not very pure! the veins and lines of impurity with lovely colors through them sometimes makes them gorgeous!

like the blue crackle agate with red brown and green lines through them

or the agates with ink insertion

the stones surface, and the shape if they are crackled, scratched or nicely faceted can also help them to glow or look differently beautiful, like

or the faceted ones

I love to share every single image of them with you, but it looks a lot already! every single bead has a lot to talk to me about, every crack and every shape, every color and every impurity! they are just melting my heart! I really love to work with them, and I really like to share them with you, the base and story behind everything i have made.

wish you also like them Smiley

Hello there Smiley

I am a new user to your forum, and I was searching around for your handmades, projects and tutorials. I would like to share my hand mades with you, to get your suggestions, as your eyes should be sharp in noticing my weaknesses and strength! It means a lot to me to use opinions, maybe this topic can become a good place for others also to share their handmades  Smiley

Thanks you, here are my photos:

the necklace is made of karen hill tribe silver rectangle beads on an elastic cord (the silver beads have covered the cord) with multicolor moonstone and karen hill tribe flower!
