I got my package from goldsheepbowl today!  She sent me a pair of crazy dangly earrings with all kinds of mustaches on them and a giant pink mustache necklace!  It's awesome Smiley

No pics right now as I need to find my camera cord... but I will have them up as soon as possible!  Just wanted to brag a little  Wink

Yay! I've been looking for a low stress swap to ease myself back in after working like crazy and barely doing anything else.  I think I shall fill out the questionaire right now!

Hooray for mustaches!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: question about how to make something.. SCRAPNQUEEN DON'T LOOK!! on: January 30, 2008 09:01:20 PM
thank you both of you! i don't know what i would do without the help of all the wonderful craftsters out there!  Cheesy

I dont know about you, but without craftster i probably would have many broken hooks because of frustration. Grin But that's what's so great about craftster, everyone is here to help each other. *group hug*

i know i would prolly have stopped crocheting for a time if i didnt have this site!! and that would be baddd!!

I don't think I ever would have started crocheting at all without craftster Smiley  I know I probably would have given up on it without everyones help ( just like with knitting  Wink)  *joins in group hug*
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: question about how to make something.. SCRAPNQUEEN DON'T LOOK!! on: January 29, 2008 11:39:11 AM
Hmm.. It looks pretty simple. Looks like the arms and body are just tubes sewn together.  Try maybe: ch2, (1)5sc in 2nd ch from hook, (2)5scinc, (3) *sc, scinc* around then sc around until they are long enough.  For the body, the same as the arms but with a few extra rounds of increases so it's larger.  (4)*2sc, scinc* around, (5) 3 sc, sc inc* around.  For the face, begin the same way but continue the increases until it is the right size.  Make two and sc around and through both pieces to attach them.  The tummy would probably be made the same as the beginning of the body.  It looks about the same size.  And the hair looks like long chains with 1 row of sc.

Hope that helps/makes sense!

princess evangeline- sounds very cool!  we always try to get there early but have failed every year so far Cheesy  Last year the car broke down and added 6+ hours to the trip!  uhg.  i'll definitely get back to you on this closer to june when we have more of an idea of what's going on.  If we can't swing by, hopefully we can at least see you there!  I bet a lot of craftsters are going..  we should all meet up at some point!  That would be very cool.   Grin

Silent disco - craftster style!  Or no, even better..  if they do it this year, (they didn't last year, but did the other two years i've gone) THE MASQUERADE BALL!  The perfect place to show off all out crafting skillz!

Hmm.. maybe we should post about this on the Tennessee board, or some other more appropriate board where more people can see...

I would try using KnitPro.  It is very easy to use and it works really well.  Make sure it is set to " Needlepoint, Cross Stitch, Crochet (1:1)" stitch size.
