Everything was so neatly packaged too!

2  STELLA!!! I love your hat! in Knitting: Completed Projects by thelotetree on: August 26, 2008 12:08:22 PM
Original post by knittingschooldropout:

Here is my version! Knitted up in Malabrigo worsted "snow bird" colorway... which doesn't make any sense. It should be named "apple harvest" or Red Delicious.
Knit this hat... you will LOVE it... oh and make sure your kids aren't yelling at you while you are doing all the decreases in the top.

3  Blood Orange and Chocolate Cake *ahem* Soap in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by thelotetree on: August 26, 2008 11:43:01 AM
I wanted to make a soap that reminded me of my earliest memories in Sicily...
People are always telling me my soap smells "good enough to eat" so the idea of making cake came to me last fall. I use the cold process method of soapmaking. The chocolate is a special kind from Grenada.
Thanks for looking!

6  Bowling Ball Garden Sphere in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by thelotetree on: June 30, 2008 09:24:06 AM
Bowling balls can be found easily at yard sales and thrift stores- apply glass stones, pennies, buttons, spray paint- whatever you want and voila! A neat sphere to accent your garden! Use an industrial strength epoxy though! This one pictured is about 3 years old and has never been taken indoors during the winter- which is recommended.

7  Antique Style pintuck dress for baby in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by thelotetree on: June 26, 2008 06:30:07 PM
My Mother whipped this out for my little baby girl a couple of days ago. I just love it! I think she looks like a little doll baby. She's 10 months old btw and quite edible. Mom initially used a pattern but modified it quite a bit with the pintucking along the bottom and the collar. She made the little rosette from scratch and used antique buttons (from a large old collection) on the back. The fabric is white and blue calico cotton that was on sale and Mom (memaw) said total dress cost was under $2.00. Gotta love that!

9  Wrap dress kit from etsy Re-post in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by thelotetree on: June 26, 2008 10:44:47 AM
I first posted in the other completed project forum and then realized I prolly should have posted here first.

So, I found this (kit) dress on etsy last December and said to myself: I must have it, because if I do, I will transform into an french country farm girl and be able to pick lavender all day. Having no real sewing skillz myself, I enlisted my Mom for help *ahem* to sew it for me Smiley Anyway, I bought it back in Feb. and I just got it yesterday (June) I lurrve it. Hubby hates it, but I don't care!! Should I post this in curvacious?? Grin Check out the designer's blog: http://malphi.typepad.com/
