1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with ruffles on: August 12, 2012 03:26:41 PM
Hi,
Does anyone know how to get vertical crescent shaped ruffles to all flow in the same direction, is there a particular way to attach them to the garment? I notice that the bottom is larger, does this matter?

I want to make a skirt similar to this:

thanks.

I would go with the serger because you can do more with it than a coverstiching machine which can pretty much only do hems.

Makeup rolls are great. There basically squares and there are not too many steps; plus there are a bunch of YouTube tutorials on them and the video instruction is a great help. Good luck and have fun!
