1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My first attempt with a resin on: September 24, 2012 07:48:42 PM
When I saw resin jewelry with dried flowers I fell in love. For about a year I was preparing myself because i was kinda afraid of the resin (fear of ruining everything). And now I've dealt with my fear ( It was so silly of me) And here are my first pendants. In clear one I'll drill a hole and hang it on a chain.

And I have a question if  someone came across this problem. When I want to put a second layer o а the resin it kinda pulls away and whatever I do it doesn't want to stay on some spots. Is it a good idea to use may be some alcohol before applying resin? I don't know how resin reacts on alcohol.

I tried this technique and it was amazing so I just couldn't stop.

3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Little Crown on: September 10, 2012 01:48:16 PM
I woke up yesterday with an idea to make polymer clay crown. Whole day this idea wasn't letting go off me so by the end of the day I just had to do something. So I took my extruder out and here it comes...

It's about 5cm  in diameter and same in height.
Dunno how to use it. Think it can be good for a doll, or for little princess photoshoot, or even for big princess ^_^ (like me)
