I thought I'd do a hoop containing one of my favourites quotes from Romeo and Juliet;

"Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun"

The top sections colours were based on the Aurora Borealis.

The whole thing:

My only problem is don't know what to do with it! I want to put it on the wall but I'm not sure if i should frame or leave it in the, though i have no idea what people do with them if they are in the hoops? do you sew the fabric together across the back or something else?

(sorry for links, i haven't posted enough yet)

First post so please be nice!

I've done cross stitch on and off for many years, but recently started crewel and stumpwork. then sort of got into freehand and doing whatever i felt like.

I finished this in 2 days for a friends wedding present (they didn't want anything so did this instead);

I mounted it in a picture frame, but forgot to take a picture of it in that. It also didn't ahve the pink halo you can see in the photo - the flash makes it look fuzzy.
